Welcome back to another exciting school year! The HSC students of 2017 received some excellent results. We are currently following up the destinations of these students and most have received offers to university. There are still two offer rounds for university places during February, so preferences can still be changed to secure an offer. Also, several students have already started apprenticeships in areas such as carpentry, automotive mechanics. Congratulations to all the students and we wish them well in their future endeavours. CSIRO Work Experience CSIRO offer high school science students the chance to gain first-hand experience of their core research in a scientific environment. Official applications for 2018 will open in March and successful participants will be notified by the end of May. Find out more https://www.csiro.au/en/Careers/Student-and-graduateopportunities/Work-experience National Youth Science Forum Year 12 Program The NYSF Year 12 Program is a 12-day residential program designed to give students beginning Year 12 a broader understanding of the diverse study and career options available in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and to encourage them to continue their studies in these fields. The next one is in January 2019, and there are scholarships available.
