January 2022 Dear Parents & Guardians: Greetings from Saint Joseph Academy! I hope this finds you doing well and staying healthy during these first weeks of 2022. I continue to be impressed with the level of commitment, passion, and care shown for our school by all stakeholders – students, parents, alumni, and the entire Brownsville community. We make every effort to provide a well-rounded and balanced middle and high school experience rooted in the Marist Catholic tradition, college-preparatory academics, robust athletic/extracurricular programming, and Christian Service—all while remaining affordable and accessible during these unstable economic times. In establishing the tuition rate for next year, Saint Joseph Academy worked hard to keep tuition affordable and the increase below the inflation rate. For the 2022-2023 school year, there will be a modest 2.7% tuition increase equaling $300 a year or $25 per month, making the annual tuition $11,520.00 or $960.00 per month. Also, St. Joseph Academy is happy to announce that beginning in the 2022-2023 school year the MultiChild Discount will increase for each additional child enrolled at SJA. The Multi-Child Discount is as follows: 1st child: $11,520 2nd child: $10,520 ($1,000 discount) 3rd child: $10,020 ($1,500 discount) The re-enrollment process is now open, so please keep a lookout for an email with instructions and the re-enrollment link. Tuition-Assistance Any family that finds difficulty with the current tuition rate is encouraged to apply to the school’s Tuition-Assistance Program. The Tuition-Assistance Program application has a deadline of February 28th and is open to all families, as over 20% of SJA students currently receive some form of tuitionassistance. More information about the process can be found on the SJA website under the “Admissions > Tuition & Financial Assistance” tab or by contacting the finance office. Your tuition investment allows Saint Joseph Academy to provide the best possible faculty, offer a college-preparatory academic program that delivers our Marist mission, and implement enriching opportunities for your child to grow—both academically and spiritually, helping us mold our students into SAINTS and SCHOLARS.
