Dear Members of the SJA Administration, Faculty, Staff and School Board,
Blessings as this Marial month of May ends. As you know Saint Joseph Academy will be entering a period of transition as Mr. Michael Motyl finishes as President on June 14.
The Search Committee has begun the important work of identifying worthy candidates for this vital role and we hope that process will go as quickly as possible. I am grateful to the members of the committee for all their efforts in this vital task.
The Provincial Council, as Trustees of St. Joseph Academy, wants to ensure a smooth transition of leadership. We have asked Mrs. Melissa Valadez to serve as interim President/Principal. We are grateful and confident in Melissa’s ability to serve in both roles during this period of transition.
Finally, I join you and all the SJA Community in saluting Michael for his outstanding leadership over these past nine years. We wish him and his family every blessing as they transition into this new adventure in Brooklyn, New York.
