Appendix I: AsbestosandPesticides (2022-2023)

In compliance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA), SaintJosephAcademywasrequiredtohavean inspection of buildings for asbestos containing materials. All Catholic school buildings of the Diocese of Brownsville were inspected by a licensed accredited consultant from Ambiotec Environmental Consultants, Inc. The InspectionManagementPlanisonfileinouradministrativeoffice. Thismanagementplanassures that all students and personnel are free from anyexposuretoasbestos-containingmaterials. The plan is available for review upon request. Pesticidesareperiodicallyapplied on thecampus, both indoors and outdoors. Information regarding pesticides, times of application, types, etc. is available upon request. All information may be obtained from the Facilities Manager.
