Mr. Mooty's fine coaching enabled the Saints to down Ridgewood in their first game of the season. The fast and shifty Saints swept the ends to pick up valuable yardage.

ST. MARTIN'S 14 - COUNTRY DAY 0

The Saints brilliant defensive game proved to be the margin of victory in this tilt. Their fine running ability also proved to be a decisive factor.

ST. MARTIN'S 13 - ST. MARK'S 0

This made four straight for the Saints. After a perfect defensive first half, the Saints scored twice in the last quarter, to win 13-0.

ST. MARTIN'S 6 - NEWMAN 14

The Saints scored early in the first quarter, on a beautiful pass play, to lead 6-0. But, due to some bad breaks, Newman scored twice in the second quarter, to win over the hard-fighting Saints, 14-6.

The little Saints took the St. Mark's Playground team in a very interesting game. Although outweighed in the line, the Saints went for consecutive gains, and won, going away.
