Summary Manchester Fashion Week is a multi-day branded entertainment event providing activities and opportunities for fashion designers and sponsors to come face-to-face with the principal tastemakers, celebrities, musical talent, media, and consumers across Manchester. Economically the aim is to make Manchester Fashion a collective, and an exceptional annual event for the city, and for the people. Activities throughout the week will include:

* Five Days of Fashion Shows, and Six nights of exclusive after-parties * Top designer fashion shows, designer after-parties and publicity events * Press conferences, private cocktail parties for sponsors, designers and celebrities * Live performances by top musical talent & DJ’s * Gift bags and other consumer-facing opportunities * Mass Media coverage of sponsors in Trinity Mirror Group (2.9 million MCR) and Fashion TV (340 Million Global) and corresponding websites, online promotions, and supporting PR campaigns.

Each Autumn Manchester Fashion Week will be a high-end, full service event which is strategically executed to create an unprecedented amount of media buzz and daily traffic. Located in the heart of Manchester, MCRFW is easily accessible and offers a viable and cost-saving venue for designers, fashion labels and international media with the ability to host full-featured fashion shows, after-parties and press junkets.

Manchester Fashion Week has an initial focus to reach out into the various aspects of the city in a variety of venues; one in particular shall be the art world of the city.

The Partners/Sponsors Throughout 2011 we have been in a mass of private meetings with a variety of partners We are very proud to have created a great event for the city and we are at the stage where we would like to work alongside the council with support and advice on making this event a great event attracting people to the city to support the retail economy within the city. The Show 2012 will see the city electrified by Fashion. The World of Fashion will take over the city this April: Five fashion shows a day, over Five days, with six exclusive VIP parties. Commercial collaborations with Grace Jones, Caprice Bourret, and Calum Best are engineered to support the attention with a mass of contracted commercial appearances to bring attention to the city. Manchester's first Fashion Week will create waves across the country and is set to be the nations leading Fashion week outside of London. Fashion and Music will join forces and take over the week; with major live music acts, the city’s celebrities, and highly controversial designers. This is a first of its kind, to ascend upon the city of Manchester.

The Designers This is our opportunity to show the nation what our city has to offer the world. From independent controversial designers to the retail giants. We will be working alongside the retails sectors of the city from the high street to the super luxury end of the market. MCRFW aims to display a wide range of fashion. We have enlisted the countries individuals who have inspired the world of fashion including Manchester’s finest. As well as all this we shall be introducing Manchester Universities most prolific students to the world stage. Throughout the week we aim to produce the home grown talent to the international world renowned designers

The Catwalk The venue will become a blank canvas enabling the designers to create their own personal atmosphere and surroundings. Collectively, the MCRFW team along with the designers will plan the theme, the set, the music, and the models in order to inspire individually themed shows with the promising result of taking the brand to the next level. The venue will be center stage of MCRFW where the catwalk shows will take place. Alongside the shows an exhibition space will allow the city of Manchester to come together to showcase the exceptional; ranging from accessory brands to beauty brands to the smaller labels and boutiques. Fashion encompasses a wide variety of industries and Manchester Fashion Week is the perfect opportunity for companies to showcase themselves in the world fashion stage. The Manchester Fashion Week exhibition space will be the moment for Manchester smaller business to show their best assets.

And of course the MCRFW bar, will provide a relaxing space where guests can chill out and network with people of similar interests

The Media We are working in partnership with the three most influential forms of media in the city for mass appeal, within television, radio, and print we aim to dominate. All are to be encapsulated with a dominance within the social media sectors across all partners with our own presence online. London Fashion Week A main sponsor of Manchester fashion Week is on the board of The British Fashion Council, the team behind London Fashion Week. There guidance has been second to none in creating a rich, content driven Fashion Week for the city and the North. We feel with there help we will be the positive feeder to London fashion Week showcasing talent within the city Fashion TV succeeded to become the best distributed fashion and lifestyle TV medium and the most preferred channel in public places. FTV’s popularity is the result of its world-wide coverage: the appealing format is recognized globally and established a well-known brand, while providing access to the newest and hottest fashion programs. Manchester Fashion Week is to be fully filmed throughout for broadcast to 340 Million viewers globally Manchester Evening News shall be producing a special 16 Page pullout featuring all major sponsors within. Included shall be specialized advertisements and editorial, surrounding all the partners independently. From january onwards news items will creep into the MEN, leading up-to full page developments and news about the sponsors. Key103 and our team will be creating a three week bespoke campaign to include all sponsors methodically throughout, with a special KEY103 Fashion News Reports. These are to include interviews, news items , and advertisement all perceived and presented as editorial throughout the leading three weeks. CBS Outdoor CBS Outdoor is a market leading out of home specialist in the United Kingdom. Specializing in transport media, CBS Outdoor have a UK wide network of poster sites, the largest out of home digital portfolio and in depth insight to consumers’ attitudes and travel patterns. We will be looking to monopolize the Metrolink system with full advertising campaigns throughout the network Social Media will have a major influence in Manchester Fashion Week. Along with social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter we will bring breaking news and information to a wide range of followers. Both of these

social mediums will be anchored by the power of the branded website containing everything from sponsors to designers to information on the venue. Android app which will contain exciting features to entice and create a buzz around MCRFW and the collaborators.
