You must check your child’s temperature before leaving home and getting on the school bus. If your child displays a temperature on or above 37.5 degree Celsius, they must not come to school Your child will also have their temperature checked on entry to the school. If your child has registered a fever they will be taken to the administrative building and the nurse will call you to come and collect your child.

If your child is feeling unwell then they should not come to school. If your child feels unwell at school they must tell their teacher and go straight to the nurse. The nurse will then call you to collect your child from school.

School bus monitors and school bus drivers must undergo a temperature check before commence work.

If you child takes the school bus: They will have their temperature checked before boarding the bus by the bus monitor. If your child is declined entry onto the bus( their temperature equal to or higher than 37.5 degrees Celsius) you will receive a telephone call from the school. Where possible a Bus seating plan will allow siblings from the same household to sit together. Where possible, other students will be separated by one seat. All bus students must wear a face mask while on board.

The exception to this is Early Years parents can take their children up to the Early Years area.

Please make sure your child brings multiple masks that are clearly labelled with their name and class. If your child forgets or loses their mask they can buy another one at the main admin building.

Your child will use hand sanitizer when entering or exiting school as well as moving into different spaces around school, including entering and exiting the canteen.

Classroom doors will be left open and windows will be opened at regular intervals to ensure necessary ventilation.

In the canteen food preparation and food safety will be maintained at a high standard. Screens will be used at the serving area and there will be social distancing measures in all areas. All serving of food done by canteen staff.

At the end of the day you must pick up your child from the primary entrance (Early Years and years 1 & 2 3.00pm years 3-6- 3.10pm) and leave the school premises straight away. Please note the coffee shop will close at 3pm each day.

You and your child must please follow all safety instructions at all times including: -Having your temperature checked at the entrance to school -Staying one metre apart -Using the correct entrances and exits -Using the correct toilets - Washing and disinfecting their hands when necessary Your child will receive lessons on the first day back which will go over the new safety instructions.

Please note: lockers will not be used to store any of your child’s items during this time. What will online learning be like if your child does not return to school? If you decide that your child will not return to school they will be able to join class based lessons throughout the day. They will join lessons at home through a google meet link rather than join the lessons live at school. In addition, daily tasks will be set on Seesaw for the CORE subjects (literacy, maths and Thai). Your child’s class teacher will set these tasks and provide feedback. Please note that if you decide to keep your child at home they will not be able to join practical and specialist lessons outside the classroom such as PE, music and outdoor activities.
