EXTREME GREEN–2007 GT
WHAT STARTED OUT AS A HOBBY HAS TURNED INTO MY FULL TIME CAREER AS AN AUTO BODY TECHNICIAN IN THE COLLISION INDUSTRY.
My passion for cars started as a kid playing with Hot Wheels, building models, reading Hot Rod magazine, and playing with remote control cars. My love for Mustangs began right after high school and hasn’t stopped. I still get excited after owning several Mustangs over the past thirty years. I learned to do body work back then as I couldn’t afford to pay someone to make my cars as nice as I wanted them to be. What started out as a hobby has turned into my full time career as an auto body technician in the collision industry.
This Mustang started out as a white 2007 GT. Over the first couple years of owning this I added the twenty inch Foose wheels with Nitto G2, Cervini 2.5 cowl hood, Silver Horse Racing flush mounted quarter louvers and the GT 500 rear spoiler. Four years into having this car I decided it was time to change the color of this car. I wanted it to stand out from the rest of the Mustangs so I had my local paint rep color match my Snap On tool box. We did change the paint formula to make it a lot brighter. I loved the car and how it turned out but I wanted a 5.0! I found a 2013 California Special and decided to do a complete drivetrain and interior swap. I added a few bolt on mods as listed. I personally love the looks of 2007 body style and to have a 5.0 in it is an added bonus. I bought this car a month before my son was born in 2013 and plan on giving it to him at some point in life.
