BRENT BOYER CAR OWNER
CAR NAME–YEAR & MODEL INFO
THE MISTRESS - 1970 MUSTANG
I’ve performed ALL the work on the Mistress in my personal shop which includes the rebuilding and assembly of the engine, transmission, and the differential. I also personally performed the total body, welding, fabrication, all the paint work, and also the chassis rebuild and front end laser aligning. I installed all the updated wiring and handled all of the interior work as well. I want to thank my wife Denise, my son Logan, and my good friend Josh for all the support and help that was given when I needed a second hand.

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquiring this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!

She rides on four wheel power disc brakes and the suspension is a Boss 429 set up with adjustable front coil overs. The car was also fitted with an American Autowire complete updated wire harness. The wheels are 17 inch U.S. Mag and the tires are 245/45/ ZR17 Nittos on the front and 275/40ZR17 Nittos on the rear.
I met Daniel Ramey at a Beltway Mustang show and won my spot with STANG Magazine in their Carlisle Ford Nationals display. Needless to say I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I didn’t know the people attending and was going by myself.
The STANG Mag family welcomed me in from the very start and made me feel like one of their own!
