The dairy herd is 65% straight Holstein, 35% Jersey/Holstein cross, 5% Jersey. SCC <200,000 as of Sep 1. Tank averaged 50lbs per day. Cows were fed 16% feed in barn and fed 7lbs of alfalfa hay plus all the dry hay they wanted. Cows ran on 260 acres of rotational grazing. All cows will be Bangs and TB tested. All bulls have been negative Trich tested. Herd is medicine free, problem animals were sold from herd. When turned dry, all cows saw the hoof trimmer.
