The Middle School Fall Play This year, St. Christopher 's and St. Catherine's came together to put on a production of "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" based on the book by Roald Dahl. The play is about a family of foxes that move to a new home. However, when the family arrives they are faced with evil farmers that try to kill them. The fox family has to dig to escape the farmers. In the end, all the animals from the area, as well as the foxes, create an underground civilization. The play featured Ewan Cross as Mr. Fox, Wylie Wagnon as Farmer Boggis, Drew Brown as Kristofferson, Jay Munson as a rat, Max Buono as a weasel, Chance Thorne-Begland as a rat, Marc Revilla as a villager, Alexander Moore as a villager, and Luke Gresham as a mole. With only a month to practice the play the cast and crew were able to put on an hour long production. Everyone is looking forward to the winter production of "Beauty and the Beast".

In their first game of the season, the Saints took on Nansemond Suffolk at home. The Nansemond Suffolk team was very athletic; they won 36-6 against our own Saints. Despite the poor performance, Ned Mangum rushed for a 45 yard TD. The Saints fixed their mistakes during this week of practice to prepare for Anna Julia Cooper Middle School (AJC).
The Saints played well in their next game vs. the Lions. Mac Grant was the MVP of the game with a game clinching touchdown and 2 pt. conversion in the late minutes of the fourth Quarter. The Saints also forced two turnovers from an interception and a fumble recovery. The Saints won 8-0, evening their record at 1-1. After that week, the Saints practicing hard and got ready for the rivalry Cougar game at home.
The Saints had a great practice week to prepare for the Cougars, and were definitely ready. The Saints tackled, ran, and passed well against the Cougars therefore winning 14-6. Mac Grant and Ned Mangum had TDs. The defense also has multiple interceptions and fumbles, including two within the redzone. With the Saints having three games left in the season following the Cougars win, they strived for more.

GAME 4 In the Saints 4th game, they played AJC again at home, looking to get the job done like they did before. In the first half of the game Mac Grant had a fumble recovered TD and Wade Jefferson had a 20 yard TD reception. The Saints also played great defense in the game. The Saints had an interception, two fumbles, and three onside kick recoveries in this game that really made things easy for the Saints. The Saints crushed AJC 26-6 and improve to 3-1. The Saints had only 5 days to prepare for their next game against the Middies.
GAME 5 The Saints were 3-1 going into their 5th game vs. The Middies. The score was 8-6 Middies at half and the Saints were eager to gain the momentum back at the start of the second half. They did so, as on their first drive when Mac Grant had a rushing TD (his second of the game) to put the Saints up 14-8 with the 2 pt. Conversion. The Middies were back in their territory when Guthrie Braun and Kent Goode were quick to the QB, causing a sack and a fumble that went into the back of the endzone for a safety. Towards the end of the game, the Middies had a long punt return that led them to the 10 yard line. From there, they then scored a touchdown. The Saints however pulled it together and forced a stop on the 2 point conversion. There were a large amount of players in on the tackle. The game ended shortly after that with the Saints coming out with the win, 16-14.
GAME 6 The Saints then had a long break to prepare for their last game against the Cougars, this time away. In the 1st quarter the Saints were in command starting with a defencive drive that forced a turnover on downs for the Cougars. They later scored off of a 15 yard TD run by Mac Grant making it 6-0 Saints. The Saints were rolling on both sides of the ball also getting 3 interceptions. Mac Grant got a pick six for his 2nd TD of the game. The Saints had momentum going into the second half leading, 14-0. The Saints then lost an onside kick on the kickoff to the start the second half. The Saints let the Cougars score, including a 2 point conversion. Now, the score was 14-8. The Cougars scored on a 15 yard TD catch to put the Cougars out in front. The Cougars ended up winning 16-14.

By Cur t is Hal e Yes, this movie is made for younger kids. Yes, this movie may not be considered a great movie based on first glance. Yes, I loved Finding Dory as a 14 year-old and I probably shouldn?t. But, I don?t care, and anyone who watched this movie will probably agree with me; Finding Dory is arguably one of the best movies of 2016. Growing up, I watched Finding Nemoconstantly, and I?m sure many at St. Christopher?s have seen it. This is a perfect sequel to Finding Nemo. In the movie, there is Dory, Marlin, and Nemo (the same characters in Finding Nemo) but in this movie Dory does not get lost like Nemo, but instead the three travel across the Pacific Ocean in search for her parents that she lost as a very young fish and because she forgets things very quickly she forgot where they lived. W hile asleep, Dory accidentally says where she lived. W hen Marlin, Nemo and Dory travel across the ocean to California, they get a ride from the turtles like they did in Finding Nemo. They meet an octopus, two seals, a crazy bird, and Dory?s childhood friends. There are many other great surprises on the trip to seek out Dory?s parents. Many people may overlook this movie because Finding Nemo was made 13 years ago, but it is no joke. Rotten Tomatoes (the most popular movie ratings site) rated it 92/ 100, which is ranked ahead of many notable movies such as Captain America: Civil War, Star Trek Beyond, Sully, Deadpool and many more. Animated movies are extremely good and underrated. I encourage you to watch Finding Dory because not only will it bring back great childhood memories of Finding Nemo, but and you will enjoy Finding Dory more than you would think. I rate Finding Dory a 4.5/ 5 stars.

The overall gameplay of Star Wars Battlefront is really fun and is overall a great arcade shooter that is fun to play every once in awhile just to have a little bit of fun. It has a unique customization, you can use many different character skins for each faction the Imperials and the Rebels. They have different Stormtrooper skins and alien skins for the Rebels. They include iconic blasters from the Star Wars Era too. I really liked the first release of Battlefront and overall it had enough content for you to wait with until the first DLC came out, The Outer Rim. The second DLC included the iconic setting of The Cloud City of Bespin. however you have to have some money if you want to get it! The full game is 50 dollars to start at. If you want to get all the DLC?s at once when they come out you can get the season pass for 50 dollars, if you don't want to pay 50 dollars, you can wait and pay 15 dollars later for the DLC?s. You should get this game and it is really fun.
