For more than 56 years, the cream-colored clapboard building has been used as a chapel, physically nestled in the center of campus, emotionally nestled in the hearts of boys who matriculate through. Upper School Chaplain Whitney Edwards describes it as “a place in the geography of these men’s hearts,” like their mother’s or grandmother’s home. “It’s a touchstone, and when they come back, it’s a part of where they return,” she said.
