Livigno pistes map
Livigno is rated as a top skiing resort because it simply has it all – fantastic snow throughout the skiing season, wonderful ski runs, excellent other snow-related activities, great nightlife, duty-free shopping – all within this small Alpine village which spans 25 km between the Italian and Swiss borders.
Steven, Stellina & Sean in Livigno
Welcome to our 17th edition of YTC’s Ski & Snowboard Publication Once again, we are looking forward to this year’s skiing season, and we offer you two exciting skiing destinations: - Livigno, where YTC has been hosting clients with huge success since 1997 and - Madonna di Campiglio, a beautiful skiing destination which is equally well known to the Maltese and which is offered by YTC with the expert advice of Peter Sullivan. Booking a skiing holiday is not just booking a flight and accommodation and the success of your holiday depends on the planning and expertise of your skiing organiser. YTC excels here, both at its Malta office and on-site, and will guarantee the best holiday possible.

As in past years, YTC ski director Mariano Galas, ably assisted by Eleonora and/or our guides, will teach you to ski and will ensure that you have a wonderful time on and off the slopes. Non-skiers are offered short breaks in Livigno for a snowrelated holiday during December and January, as well as to Madonna di Campiglio in January. For a non-snow related holiday during winter we offer short group trips to Sicily, or accommodation in beautiful Sicilian farmhouses for the individual traveller. I would like to thank the YTC ski team in Malta and abroad for making YTC the top skiing holiday provider in Malta.
OFFICE HOURS: Mon – Fri: 9am - 6pm
Stellina Galea - YTC Travel
Located in a high valley in Italy, bordering Switzerland, Livigno is 1816m high. The surrounding slopes tower to 3000m, the Carosello mountain on one side and the Mottolino mountain on the other. At this altitude, it is no wonder that Livigno’s skiers can always rely on first rate snow conditions. The pistes are usually open by the first week of December, and remain open till two weeks after Easter, having the longest skiing season in Italy. Beginners are taught how to ski on the lower slopes, while the more experienced skiers take to the higher slopes, and ski from one end of the Carosello mountain to the other. Livigno’s slopes are nice and wide, with a good mix of blue, red and black slopes. There are over 120km of slopes spread out between the Carosello and Mottolino mountains. The pistes are well groomed and subject to constant attention in addition to a network of quick and modern cable cars and lifts. The upper slopes can be easily accessed by persons who have skied before via the Tagliede cable car and the chair lifts nearby, which are all extremely close to the Miramonti hotel and other hotels and apartments provided by YTC. For beginners, skiing is concentrated at YTC’s facilities at the flattest pistes in Livigno.
Once again, this year’s slogan remains,

LEARNING WITH SMILES SKIING WITH CONFIDENCE
One of our groups after the races
Lessons are essential for beginners and highly recommended for intermediate and advanced skiers. The techniques taught during these lessons will allow you to improve your technique and approach more difficult slopes with greater confidence, including the beautiful red and black slopes available in Livigno. With proper tuition it will be possible to ski faster and safer under all types of conditions and on all sorts of slopes, giving that satisfying feeling at the end of each difficult slope. This is your chance to learn to ski with YTC in Livigno. Learning to ski is fun, and everybody has to learn some time. It’s like riding a bicycle, so once you have learnt how to ski, you will always remember how to ski, though practice and further tuition will always bring you more enjoyment. YTC has been in this business for over 35 years, as the travel agency which introduced skiing to the Maltese, and has an over 95% success rate at teaching beginners. Our ski director,
Mariano showing his skills
4
This year we are introducing a specialised 4-day course consisting of one hour per day advanced skiing tuition. Ask for further details.
4
Mariano Galas, has been teaching Maltese clients for nearly 20 years, more than half of his professional life. With this wealth of experience Mariano knows how the Maltese beginner thinks and feels on the first few days on the slopes. Most Maltese have never been on the snow before, so he has tailor-made his lessons to bring out the best in Maltese skiers. He is helped by Eleonora who is Maltese or by one of our guides, so being encouraged in your own language by the instructor’s assistants, as well as having an instructor who understands a lot of Maltese words, is a service you will not find anywhere else in the world. The first two days are spent on a small escalator carpet, which carries you some 50 metres up the gentle slope, before you start skiing slowly down. Mariano will teach how to stop, turn and slow down on a very small flat slope and beginners enjoy the skiing sensation immediately.
SKI AND SNOWBOARD 2015-2016
Family time
After about two days, lessons are on a slightly longer slope, where one learns how to go up a ski lift. By the end of the week, our beginners can comfortably tackle a full easy slope with confidence, while being 100% in control.
Some facts about tuition offered by YTC.
Skiing is a group activity, so skiing together with family or friends is something our beginners look forward to.
Tuition lasts 2 hours per day for 5 days, with 1 hour of skiing being defined internationally as being 55 minutes of instruction, which allows the instructor 5 minutes/hour to prepare himself for the next lesson. The 6th day consists of organised races for groups.
YTC skiers, under Mariano’s guidance, learn to ski relatively well and compared to other beginners, are excellent students. This does not mean they know it all - it takes several skiing holidays to make a good skier, but with YTC our beginners enjoy the whole week of skiing, and look forward to their next skiing holiday.
Towards the last day, Mariano will film you skiing, and prepare a DVD of you skiing available at a small charge (for group lesson participants only). Photos of you skiing during some lessons and during the races are taken by a professional photographer (available upon request at a charge).
Participants of the races will be given a personalised certificate and a YTC memento or trophy.
Those skiers not taking group lessons may take part in a specially organised race at the end of the week for advanced skiers at a cost of €10 per person.
KIDS LOVE TO SKI WITH YTC IN LIVIGNO
Mariano showing the right technique
Enjoying the skiing sensation
If you have children, there is no better family holiday than a skiing holiday. Skiing is ideal for the entire family - children have fun, parents enjoy seeing their children have fun, while enjoying skiing themselves. When the kids become teenagers and young adults, the family can still enjoy a skiing holiday together. And when the slopes have closed for the day, Livigno offers a wide variety of other, snow-related activities.
Tuition consists of a 5-day course, with races held on the 6th day. By their second lesson, your children will be going up and down the beginners’ carpet completely at ease, and depending on their progress will later be introduced to the button or chair lifts. The races at the end of the week are also keenly competitive, with medals and cups as prizes to show off their achievements to their loved ones at home.
Put a pair of skis on your kids’ feet, and within a few hours they will be thoroughly enjoying themselves. First off, they need to be taught to ski, which is where Mariano Galas, Eleonora and our guides excel. Mariano’s friendliness and patience enables him to create a bond with the children, while communicating with our guides in Maltese goes a long way to making your child relax and enjoy the sport. YTC boasts a success rate of nearly 100% in teaching your kids to ski.
Apart from the skiing, children can participate in most of the other snow-related activities in Livigno. Sledging, tyre-sliding and horse-riding, apart from the regular snow fights and building of snowmen, which are all popular activities. And after a hectic day out on the slopes, followed by a good dinner, parents never have any difficulty putting their kids to sleep. Some well-earned peace and quiet and a good night’s rest in anticipation of the next funpacked day on the slopes.
Tuition is carried out close to the village. Most parents or grandparents would ski with their kids as YTC tries to keep beginner families together as much as possible, adding to the fun.

THE MAIN ACTIVITY IS SKIING, YET WITH SKI GROUP LESSONS LASTING 2 HOURS DAILY (IN SKIING, INTERNATIONALLY, 1 HOUR IS DEFINED AS 55 MINUTES OF TUITION AND 5 MINUTES BREAK), THERE IS ALWAYS ENOUGH TIME TO DO THE ACTIVITIES WHICH APPEAL TO YOU MOST. THE LIST OF FUN ACTIVITIES TO BE ENJOYED ON AND OFF THE SNOW IS VAST, AND THE ACTIVITIES BELOW ARE THE MOST POPULAR. ACTIVITIES ARE ORGANISED BY YTC. ASK YOUR GUIDE FOR DETAILS. Sledging
Jetbikes
Horse-riding
JETBIKES Top of the list and up to now still the most favourite non-skiing activity for YTC clients is the jet-biking experience, which is a huge hit with people of all ages. Spend 40 minutes driving the bike, while enjoying the breathtaking scenery... speed, snow and lots of fun! You may drive the bike if you are 18 years or older. No previous experience is necessary. You can choose to carry out this activity on the frozen lake or on the mountain.
Tyre-sliding
6
SLEDGING Once a week at 5pm a slope is dedicated to sledging. The chair-lift will be open for sledgers only, who ride to the top of the piste in the chairlift with the sledge in hand, and then sledge down the whole piste. This is definitely the activity which appeals to the broadest age range and it is not unusual to find three generations of a family all enjoying the sledging experience together. TYRE-SLIDING If you want to fly across the snowy slopes without an engine or your skis then you really must try the tyre-sliding which has proved to be very popular and lots of fun - it’s simple, you just sit in a large inflated ‘tyre-tube’ and slide down the twisting circuit specially laid out at the bottom of the slopes. Suitable for all ages.
SKI AND SNOWBOARD 2015-2016
Husky rides
Horse drawn carriages
HUSKY RIDES One of this season’s new activities available to YTC guests is the husky dog-sled rides. This fun experience takes place just a short trip out of the village of Livigno (about a half-hour away by minivan) where you will be introduced to these gorgeous husky dogs and shown how to handle your individual dogs and sled before starting a memorable trip through the trees on the specially prepared trail. The activity is approximately 1 hour long and is not suitable for children and for those scared of heights.
HORSE-RIDING AND HORSE DRAWN CARRIAGE RIDES Horse lovers are well catered for in Livigno where riders of every ability can spend time enjoying the special ambiance of the snowy slopes from horseback. Under the supervision of expert local guides you can follow the trails through the trees of the lower slopes of the valley and bask in the enchantment of the clear, crisp mountain air. For those who want a more sedate equine experience, the horse drawn carriage is the choice for you. This is a tranquil activity suitable for everyone.
LIVIGNO
MUCH MORE THAN JUST SKIING
APRÈS SKI & NIGHTLIFE Livigno is the Number 1 ski resort for nightlife in Italy, and possibly in Europe too. You can visit several pubs and après ski bars at night, and you would not have visited them all by the end of your week.
Jetbikes
NIGHT SKIING Every Thursday there is night skiing on a selected piste nearby, which is floodlit until 10pm for skiers and snowboarders to enjoy a completely different skiing experience.
Snowboarding
ALSO FOR CHILDREN Children enjoy other non-skiing activities too, like sledging, the building of snowmen, snowball fights and tyre sliding. Children older than seven years of age can ride pillion on jetbikes driven by adults or go horseriding along the Livigno stream.
SNOWBOARDING Snowboarders have their own fun parks in Livigno in addition to the regular pistes. There is also a competition level snow park with half pipes, rails, jumps and a mega sound system. Snowboard lessons can also be organised on request. Enjoy. ICE SKATING At the centre of the village (near the church) you can have some fun on the floodlit ice skating rink every evening until 10pm - the perfect way to spend an hour or so under the starlit, crisp winter sky.
www.ytctravel.org
Latteria
LATTERIA The Latteria (dairy) is worth a visit. By means of audio equipment you can hear the commentary, while seeing how and where the delicious cheese, milk, butter and cream, for which Livigno is famed, is made - and of course get to taste it.
WALKING Walking along the stream in Livigno in the tranquil setting of the snow clad mountains is very popular with Maltese clients. The walk is up to 10km long.
Livigno’s pubs are the places where a great many Maltese of all ages find themselves immediately after the slopes for some après-ski. As anyone who has been on a skiing and snowboarding holiday knows, après skiing is as much fun as the skiing itself. After dinner, it’s back to the pubs for some serious socialising. Drinks are duty-free everywhere and are incredibly cheap given the generous amount so you can definitely afford a few rounds. Bivio Club at the Bivio, the brand new club Il Cielo on the Mottolino side, Helvetia, Bar Stalet, Tagliede, Micky’s, Daphne’s, Roxy, Marco’s, Homelywood, Tea Vidal, the list is quite long and these are just a few. The bars close at 2am, which should be ample enough time to enjoy yourselves. Most bars are within walking distance of YTC hotels, and those which are not are only a short, cheap taxi-ride away.
SHOPPING Some decide to go shopping – and duty and vat-free shopping at that. Due to a concession earned way back in 1805, goods sold in Livigno are duty and vat-free, giving endless shopping opportunities for clothing, electronic goods, alcoholic drinks, perfumes and other sundry items. Take the time to go shopping and you will find several bargains with your name on them, from any one of the over 300 shops found throughout the village.

Booking Terms and Conditions. These apply for each booking made. The holidays appearing in this printed brochure and on the website, www.ytctravel.org, have been planned and are operated by YTC.
YOUR RESERVATION Your obligations to us start the moment you have paid your deposit. Our obligations to you start the moment we have accepted your deposit. At the time of booking, it will be assumed that you have read and accepted the terms and conditions appearing in this brochure or our website, www.ytctravel.org, for yourself and on behalf of all the members of your party for whom the booking is made. OUR PRICE POLICY Prices in this brochure/website are valid at the time of publication, based on prices given to us by our regular suppliers and based on assumptions clearly stated in our price section. It is possible that at the time of booking, our prices may have increased or decreased from those published, mainly due to price differences in airline tickets, or because our main allocations in certain hotels would have been used up, or alternative accommodation being available. There may also be changes in taxes or levies, aircraft fuel surcharges, port charges or catamaran fuel surcharges. Furthermore, for our winter skiing tours, there are a large number of variables which may make the pricing structure non-standard. At the time of booking, you will be quoted a price which might therefore be different from that published and the quotation will state what services are being provided, and that price will apply to the holiday option chosen. STANDARD OF ACCOMMODATION AND OTHER SERVICES Hotel rooms are usually smaller than the rooms we are used to in Maltese residences. Quad rooms will generally have bunk beds as the third and fourth bed. Meals are a three course set-menu with moderate portions. Drinks, including water, are always to be paid extra. Use of mini-bar and telephones in rooms are chargeable to the client. Unless clearly specified, all entrance fees to museums or cable cars are always extra. The client cannot cancel the planned holiday because one or more excursions could not be operated due to some reason which is beyond YTC’s control. If any portion of your holiday is lost due to natural disasters, bad weather, industrial action, war, government restrictions or any matter of force majeure, YTC cannot be held liable to pay compensation or pay for damages incurred. Touring itineraries may have to be changed sometimes at short notice, due to weather, road or traffic conditions, mechanical breakdowns, police activity, etc. Only items listed under ‘Price Includes’ are included in the
10
package price. There may be remote occasions when an advertised facility is not available during your particular holiday. Coaches and minivans do not have onboard toilet facilities. In tours accompanied by a tour-leader, the sole responsibility of the tour leader is limited to the program and only in exceptional emergency cases will he divert from his official programme. He is under no obligation to accompany members of the group around shops or around the areas being visited. There could be occasions that we have no direct control over the provision of services to you by suppliers. Any special requests, such as rooms next to each other, rooms with a balcony or mountain-view, particular rooms in hotels which you have stayed before, etc, are at the discretion of our suppliers. IF WE CHANGE YOUR HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENTS Although it is highly unlikely, we may have to change your holiday arrangements and we reserve the right to do so any time - flight timings may change, we may have to amend an itinerary, or a hotel may close down or overbook. If we have to make any changes, we will inform you as soon as is reasonably possible before departure. Due to unforeseen circumstances, it may be necessary to change a hotel or some other part of your holiday arrangement after your holiday has commenced, in which event we will do our best to maintain the overall standard of the holiday arrangements. The right is reserved to substitute alternative airlines and/or aircraft if necessary. Flight timings are subject to confirmation and alteration. Some flights may have intermediate stops en route and as factors affecting this are not always known before departure date we cannot always notify you in advance. In the event of your flight arrangements being changed or cancelled by the airline, we accept no liability for extra costs or consequential loss arising, directly or indirectly, from any independent contract arrangements between the client and a third party. We also reserve the right to amend the program in such a way as to fit in with such flight changes. IF WE CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENTS A minimum number of persons is sometimes required to operate the packages as shown in our brochure. In the unlikely event that such minimum is not reached, we reserve the right in any circumstance to cancel your holiday up to 14 days before departure, and in this event we will refund you all the money you have paid us.
SKI AND SNOWBOARD 2015-2016
CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE Transport is subject to the conditions of carriage of the company providing such carriage. Such conditions are likely to embody the provisions of the law of the host country where the method of carriage would be registered or be subject to international conventions with governments, and which may limit or exclude the liability of the carrier, be it airline, coach, ship, etc. Departure times are at the discretion of YTC after consultation with the carrier. Departure times are fixed according to prevailing circumstances and in such manner as to give a reasonable time buffer for delays, be they due to general traffic, traffic accidents, poor road conditions, bad weather, or any other reason. In the unlikely event that the delay should result in arriving late at the destination of the tour, or at the port/airport and resulting in a missed ship/ flight, YTC is not responsible for any additional charges incurred by clients as a result of such delay, whether such charges are additional charges for an alternative ship/ flight, accommodation or any other charges. Departure times are advised beforehand, and should a client be late, YTC reserves the right to depart at the appointed time, and YTC does not accept any responsibility for any transport missed and to be replaced at the client’s expense. BOOKING, DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS The person making the booking is undertaking that he/she has the authority of all other persons mentioned in the booking to make the booking on their behalf and that he/she has already accepted the general booking conditions. The booking deposit, usually in the region of €230 per person and which is specified when making your booking, is considered a payment on account of your holiday. The moment you have made the booking you are committing yourself to pay the full amount payable for the holiday, under all circumstances. If you need to cancel your holiday, the full amount is still payable to YTC, and if the cancellation is covered by your insurance, you would need to make a claim to recover the amount paid. The balance for payment is due 6 weeks before departure or immediately if the booking is made within 6 weeks from date of departure. Payment by credit card is not accepted. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES It is your responsibility to ensure that you and those for whom you are booking are in possession of valid passports and any appropriate visas. Be sure to check passport and visa requirements with us well in advance particularly if you are a non-Maltese passport holder. You are responsible
for any charges, fines etc. that may be levied by authorities in Malta or overseas for non-compliance with any regulations in this area and any such amounts will be recharged to you. Airline regulations state that women 28 weeks or more into pregnancy at the time of return travel must have a medical certificate of fitness to travel. You must be responsible for your behaviour and the behaviour of your party. We can refuse to continue dealing with you if your behaviour is, in our opinion, or in the opinion of the airline pilot, hotelier, or other person in authority, disruptive, dangerous, or annoying to the other people or property. We will not pay any refund of any cost incurred by you if your behaviour is unacceptable even if this means you are not allowed to board your outward flight, train or bus. It is your responsibility to ensure that you carry a European Health Insurance card for travel within EU countries. In your best interest and ultimately to be prepared for any eventuality, it is compulsory when travelling with YTC, for you to have a holiday insurance, with winter sports cover where applicable. This insurance policy is to be carried with you at all times during your holiday. We suggest Gasan Mamo standard insurance cover, with the adverse weather conditions extension, as one of the options when booking a holiday with us, however you can source a policy yourself giving comparable or better cover under all sections. IF YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT If you have a problem or cause for complaint whilst on holiday, you must immediately bring it to the attention of either the tour-leader, organiser, representative, hotel or to YTC, who will in turn do their best to investigate and resolve the situation. It is unreasonable to take no action whilst on holiday and then to make a verbal or written complaint upon return. For this reason your complaint will not be entertained, and no liability whatsoever will be accepted by us if we do not receive a verbal or written complaint within 24 hours of any problem arising. We investigate all genuine complaints, however any complaints considered frivolous will not be entertained. MISCELLANEOUS We can in no way be held responsible for any incident, injury, delay, irregularity or damage to personal effects, baggage or passengers. We accept no responsibility for losses or additional irregularities caused by subcontracted parties such as airlines, hotels coaches or mini-vans etc.

LIVIGNO Enjoy a short break in Livigno. YTC is once again organizing 3 and 4 night short breaks in December 2015 and January 2016 for those who are unable to stay for a whole week. Get a feel of the skiing sensation by taking advantage of any dates on offer. For avid skiers, this is an excellent chance to take an additional skiing holiday.
For non-skiers who wish to experience the joy of a snow-filled winter holiday, we definitely recommend a short break in Livigno. There are so many things to do – simply relax in the tranquil environment, or participate in the many activities such as jet-biking, sledging, tyre sliding, horse riding, etc.
For beginners, we definitely recommend one week in Livigno for maximum enjoyment. However, if this is not possible, then a short break will definitely go a long way towards satisfying your interest in the sport and prepare you for a full week’s enjoyment next time round. If this is to be your only window of opportunity to ski this winter, grab it and enjoy it to the full. Join our group departures and take a break in the company of other skiers.
The short breaks are very popular since they are very moderately priced, and compare favourably to any alternative winter holiday in a city, so maybe just once in your lifetime, visit Livigno to get a taste of the snow environment in a mountain village.
For those who are avid skiers, take that extra skiing holiday this winter with YTC’s short breaks.

MADONNA DI CAMPIGLIO
T NEW WINT
Madonna di Campiglio
YTC is this year offering skiing holidays in Madonna di Campiglio. This resort needs no introduction to Maltese skiers, who have been skiing here for the past thirty years on trips organised by Mr Peter Sullivan. YTC is assisted in the provision of Madonna di Campiglio holidays by Peter, who has offered his expert advice and experience, and who will be leading one or two groups this winter.
Pistes map
Madonna di Campiglio, referred to as the `Pearl of the Dolomites’ is a village and ski resort in northeast Italy in the Italian Dolomites. The village lies in the Val Rendena at an elevation of 1,522 m above sea level, and is extremely popular with Italian skiers. Although Madonna di Campiglio offers a number of beginners’ pistes, it is highly recommended for intermediate and expert skiers due to the vast amount of skiing pistes available. The ski area around Campiglio has 57 lifts and 150 km of ski runs, with a capacity of more than 31,000 people per hour.

SKI AND SNOWBOARD 2015-2016
The peak rises to 2,600 m and the ski area consists of 50,000 m2 of snow park, 40km of piste suitable for Nordic skiing and links to the pistes in Pinzolo, Folgarida, and Marilleva. Each ski area, though connected, is distinct and so gives the feeling that one is skiing in a different ski area each day, with the last two days skiing in the areas which you enjoyed most. Access to the ski slopes is extremely easy, with the departure point of the main cable car situated less than 100m away from the YTC hotels. The village of Madonna di Campiglio is central, with the overall experience being that of a chic resort in the Dolomites. There are some nice shops selling a cross-section of goods surrounding the main square and the adjoining areas leading off from the square, with some nice bars and restaurants along the main roads. There are also specialist shops such as the chocolate specialist and the traditional antiques shop.

SUMMER 2016 TOURS Our summer group departures have the following characteristics in common: - stunning scenery of mountains, lakes and alpine villages - a relaxing program - an emphasis on tour organisation - seating rotation
- coach departs from hotel at 8.30am/9am - limited travelling time and short travel distances during the excursions - prompt departure times of coach from places we visit

Fiavè in the Dolomites
Livigno in summer
We are based in Livigno, which is only 20 minutes away from the Swiss border and 45 minutes away from the Austrian border. We spend two full days exploring Livigno and another day in Bormio, while on the remaining days we visit St Moritz and ride the Bernina Express, Davos, Kloster and Zernez in Switzerland and Guarda, Landeck, Glorenz and Santa Maria in Munster in Austria. Livigno is a duty and VAT-free area, with excellent shopping opportunities.
Fiavè is a small village in Trentino, 30 minutes away from Lake Garda. Our guests are hosted in a wooden chalet typical of the region owned by Mariano Galas and Eleonora. The holiday is similar to the way Mariano used to operate in Tuscany. Groups consist of not more than 10 persons, who are driven around the local places of interest in Mariano’s van. Places visited include Fiavè and its surroundings, Molveno, Bolzano, Lake Tovel and Riva del Garda.
Sarentino
Wagrain
Wagrain is a quaint alpine mountain village in Austria, which is situated close to a number of stunning beauty spots, such as Hallstatt, St. Wolfgang, Lake of Gosau, Liechtensteinklamm gorge and Lake Jagersee. We also visit Berchtesgaden and the Konigsee in Germany, since Germany is close by. There are also wonderful historical places of interest to visit like Salzburg, Hellbrunn and Werfen Castle.
Sarentino is a beautiful mountain village in the Italian Dolomites, an area of natural beauty, full of lakes, castles, spa villages, vineyards, picturesque scenery and charming historical towns which make it an ideal place to spend a relaxing week away. We visit Sarentino, Bolzano, Durnholz Lake, San Martino mountain, Caldaro and Lake Kaltern, Merano, Bressanone and Lago di Carezza. Of great interest is the local village festa.
Sicily both in winter and in summer
The options for Sicily are many, given that Sicily is so close by either plane or catamaran. YTC therefore offers various one-day and three-day group departures which are offered to the general public. Alternatively, any group of persons, such as a local council,
14
members of a band club or walking club or any recreational society or special interest group such as wine lovers, or even just a group of friends, can request us to make a tailor-made tour for them, and we will create a tour for their requirements.
SKI AND SNOWBOARD 2015-2016
Sicily is excellent for the individual traveler who wants to get away from it all to relax. We have a number of villas, farmhouses, apartments and hotels which we can offer, saving you the hassle of sourcing your accommodation, whilst knowing that it has
been tried and tested, with no unpleasant surprises. We can also give you general information and recommendations of places of interest in the vicinity, thereby giving you a ready-planned holiday without the need to stress yourself doing it yourself.
