Guarantees, Confirmations and Cancellations Your happiness is our first priority. We will work diligently to ensure your event is a success. Please help us achieve success by following these guidelines. GUARANTEES
Event menus and preliminary customer counts are required no less than twenty-one (21) business days in advance of the event. Menus submitted less than ten (10) days prior to the event will need to be selected from the Rapid Menu. A preliminary guarantee count for all scheduled events requiring catering services is due five (5) business days prior to the scheduled event. A final guarantee is due by 12:00 noon, three (3) full business days prior to the date of the event. The preliminary count will automatically become the final count if no changes are made by the start of the event. Final charges will reflect the final guaranteed meal count or actual meals served, whichever is greater. Meals served over the guarantee are subject to availability and are subject to additional charges. In the event that a request for an item is less than three (3) business days prior to a function, we will accommodate if the product is available however substitutions may be required due to time limitations. Additional charges may apply.

ISU Dining will be glad to secure specialty food items for customers. However, due to the lead time and unique ordering conditions of some products, the preliminary guaranteed count of five (5) business days and the final guarantee three (3) business days will be required earlier than the usual. Some examples of specialty items include organic, all-Iowa products or special cuts of meat that are not listed on the menu.

All food service in the Iowa State Center complex is the responsibility of ISU Dining. No outside food or beverage products may be served at events in the complex without the express permission of ISU Dining.
Exceptions to cancellations may be made if the National Weather Service declares a weather emergency. In this case the customer will not be charged for any expenses incurred.
Product sampling, for specific food shows in the Iowa State Center, is permitted if approved by ISU Dining.
BEVERAGE SERVICE
WEDDING INFORMATION
Beverages associated with meal events shall be served during the period the meal is scheduled. This period shall be defined as the service-start and service-end times identified on the Food Service Order sheet.
ITEMS LEFT IN THE CARE OF ISU DINING ISU Dining will be glad to return items left in our care if they meet the following criteria:

Additional service time will be billed in half hour (30 minute) increments at the rate of $ 10 per half hour per server. Buffet events that serve fewer than 25 meals shall be charged the minimum buffet charge, which is based on a meal count of 25. Menu substitutions that cause higher product or service costs may result in an additional charge. FOOD SERVICE
