Orchestra Manager
Jarrett Bastow is a Musical Renaissanceman in Houston, TX. He is the Education Manager for Houston Symphony, freelance bassist and a Suzuki bass & cello teacher. He formerly served as the Education & Community Engagement Director and Personnel Manager for Tulsa Symphony simultaneously serving as Personnel Manager for Symphony of Northwest Arkansas. Jarrett performed regularly with the Tulsa Symphony, Symphony of Northwest Arkansas, Springfield Symphony (MO) Orchestra, Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, Texarkana Symphony Orchestra & Tulsa Ballet & Tulsa Opera for a decade prior to his recent relocation to Houston. In addition to earning his Bachelor of Music from Ithaca College, he holds the unique distinction of being (Masters)^2. Jarrett earned his first Masters in Music from Northwestern University and his second Masters in Arts Leadership & Cultural Management from Colorado State University. He also has certifications in Change Management from Cornell University and Grant Proposal Writing from Fort Hays State University. In his free time, he likes to rock climb, hike, research, and travel. This is his second year serving as Orchestra Manager and first year playing bass for TFO.

Andrew Sehmann
Production Manager
Andrew Sehmann plays with multiple orchestras in the Southeast. He is third horn in the Augusta Symphony, and second horn with the South Carolina Philharmonic. He also teaches horn, aural skills, and music appreciation at Young Harris College, and Georgia College in Milledgeville. His previous teachers have included: Marie-Luise Neunecker, Johannes Hinterholzer, Jean Martin-Williams Mick Sehmann, Richard Deane, James Naigus, Hazel Dean Davis, Achim Reus, and Kevin Reid. In 2022 he was a Semi-finalist for the International Horn Competition of the Americas. He has also been featured on two albums: Floral Portrait’s Eponymous Debut, and The Augusta Symphony’s Orchestral Works of Miguel del Aguila. He lives with his wife Ashley, a private piano teacher in Athens with their rescue dog, Stella. This is his fifth year playing with TFO and first year as Production Manager.
