SCHOOL YEAR PRAYER Author of Truth, You created all human beings equal in dignity. Help us share in the daily responsibility of assisting others for the common good.
Each year, the St. Francis community embraces one or two of our Catholic Social Justice Principles and creates a theme. The theme helps us educate our students about one of the best-kept secrets of our faith, Catholic Social Teachings. This year’s theme encompasses the principles of Preferential Option for the Poor and Vulnerable and Rights and Responsibilities.
God of Justice, Help us actively create healthier communities and a more dignified world, a world without hunger, poverty, hate, and violence. Lover of Mercy, Help our hearts beat more strongly to ensure that human dignity is always respected, love abounds, wounds are healed, and peace prevails. Shepherd God, Guide us to see your face in all creation as we search for truth, justice, and mercy. St. Francis of Assisi, pray for us. St. Clare of Assisi, pray for us. FALL 2021 3
PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE DEAR ST. FRANCIS COMMUNITY, We are so thankful for the support of our community, the community we have so desperately missed being with and the community that has allowed us to welcome back your daughters, granddaughters, nieces, and sisters for the 2021-22 school year. This Statement of Community Support edition of our Pax et Bonum magazine is a tribute to the generosity, love and loyalty of the greater St. Francis community, which has allowed us to remain mission-focused, even as we continue to navigate the challenges of COVID. Last year was our 80th anniversary year. Since we were unable to celebrate in true St. Francis style, we will continue to honor this milestone throughout this school year and seek out opportunities for connection, community and celebration. In this edition, we also celebrate the Class of 2021 who we were able to honor in such a beautiful and unique way after the challenges of distance and hybrid learning protocols during their senior year. We are so proud of our Simbas! While we were challenged with photo opportunities throughout the year, our outdoor Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation ceremony were something to behold. We hope you will enjoy our graduates’ words of wisdom, encouragement and inspiration. In spite of our many challenges, we continue to see expanded opportunities for young women to attend St. Francis Catholic High School and become part of this unique faith community. We remain committed to expanding tuition assistance; this past school year we awarded nearly $2 million in tuition assistance to our students. Along with providing more financial support, we continue with plans to expand our campus and provide more program offerings. Our 2021-22 school year theme is “Inseparable Companions: Truth, Justice and Mercy.” Indeed, we are companions on a journey, and we look forward to seeing you on campus this year. Our annual Crab Feed and Revelry Auction, which we hosted virtually last year, are being planned for in-person events this year. We also look forward to continuing to welcome our alumnae community back to campus, first for the homecoming rally (October 1) and again in the spring to share their professional lives with our current students on Career Day (March 11, 2022). We thank you for the impact you have made on the lives of those who walk our campus each day. It is through your generosity that the community of St. Francis continues its mission of empowering the next generation of women to go out and change the world - and that’s definitely something worth celebrating! In the spirit of Pax et Bonum,
Theresa Rodgers 4

BACCALAUREATE & COMMENCEMENT
8
Our graduates and their families gathered together in celebration on May 19th for the Baccalaureate Mass and May 20th for the Commencement ceremony at Jesuit High School.
“Class of 2021, you now join the beautiful sisterhood of Troubie alumnae, more than 11,090 strong across the globe, women who have walked the halls of St. Francis for 80 years, who lived and loved and learned the four pillars of faith, excellence, leadership, and service that guide us in all we do!” THERESA RODGERS
President
VALEDICTORIAN
ROSE GOYETTE Rose Goyette, a graduate of Winston Churchill Middle School, was selected from the top ten percent of her graduating class. She was a member of the Chamber Singers, the cross country and track teams where she was Captain of the throwing team. She was also a Big Sister and St. Francis Ambassador. Rose’s future goals include becoming a teacher or advocate as it is in her nature to support and nurture others to help them be their best selves. Her use of words and command of the English language are true gifts that she will no doubt continue to develop as she moves on to the University of California, Berkeley where she plans on majoring in English. The following is Rose’s valedictory address given at the Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2021. Good evening to Bishop Soto, the Board of Trustees, President Rodgers, Principal Mendoza, administrators, teachers, coaches, parents, distinguished alumnae, including my grandmother, Barbara Wakefield Goyette, Troubie Class of 1952, and of course, my fellow classmates. My name is Rose Goyette and I am honored to pay tribute to the Class of 2021 as your valedictorian. We did it. I am beyond proud of each and every one of you for getting this far. This wasn’t the senior year we envisioned, or the senior year I think any of you deserved. But let’s not let that take away from our big moment. Let’s take time to reflect on our past together, to see how we’ve belonged to each other. Most importantly, to recognize how we can build on what we’ve learned within this community as we move into the next chapter of our lives. We are a faith that belongs to each other by definition. The word “catholic” comes from the Latin word “Catholicus” meaning “universal,” or “of the whole”. We are all-embracing. This means having open hearts and open minds, an idea that is well-supported by the four pillars we know and love: Faith, Excellence, Leadership, and Service. We used Faith from the moment we took our first steps on campus. Corinthians 5:7 says “For we walk by faith, not by sight,” and we did exactly that. Simbas arrived at St. Francis much the way we arrive into the world, confused, a little afraid, and knowing absolutely nothing. From navigating Naviance to remembering which shoes to wear at Mass, we frequently relied on the counsel of others, believing things we hadn’t yet seen. We believed together, in our community, and in each other. We will continue to take this faith and move on with it, as we grow and find our places in this world. We will trust in new people, new places, new opportunities. The faith we developed here will move us forward onto even bigger and better things. Keep that faith with you always. Our class quickly learned to aim for Excellence: “Whatever you do, work heartily as for the Lord and not for men.” (Colossians 3:23) At SF, we knew to expect the very best of each other, striving to be what God saw in us. Sophomore year 10
Simbas roared onto the Troubie scene, exceeding expectations with our homecoming skit. From that point on, our openness to going above and beyond pushed us to new heights. We excelled as a group, winning state championships on stage and soil, breaking athletic records, challenging assumptions. We learned here at St. Francis that excellence goes beyond mere accomplishment. It is about having the courage to do things excellently, even if we are alone in our task. As we leave this place, we will encounter more assumptions meant to be challenged. Our excellence will be doubted, but we will persevere, because we have been prepared to pave the way. In this way, we are leaders. As we grew at St. Francis, we became role models for those around us. Junior year got weird, fast, with the pandemic’s abrupt entrance, but we found ways to stay connected. When hate tried to divide our world, and when personal pain was posted for all to see, we listened and empathized; we supported our sisters. As Matthew, 7:12, tells us: “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you”. We stepped up, making leadership about representation and community. We took care of each other because we are nothing without each other, leading to make life better for others. Most importantly, in that moment, we didn’t let our age stop us. Students took the lead in the call for leadership and action. We now enter the world with this same call for leadership, and I am confident that all of you, wherever you end up, will find a way to lead your community with justice and love. Finally, our time at St. Francis taught us to serve others. Matthew 23:11 reminds us, “The greatest among you will be your servant.” Leaders serve, and never was this more evident than our senior year, as Mr. Poggi and his department of admissions aces worked bravely in this new world of college counseling, writing letters, answering questions, endlessly uploading. We watched our staff work hard for our futures, all by virtue of virtual reality. We learned through their example how service makes us whole, as individuals and as a community. Now it is time for us to carry that lesson with us into our adulthood. I
implore you all to continue to serve those around you. To put love and respect first. We are richer when we give. We have more when we share. Now, as we begin to look ahead, take a moment to look around. Remember what you are feeling in this very moment. Take the time to etch every detail, every emotion, the whole experience, into your soul. Remember what it is to belong here. Thank the people around you for their service in your lives. Thank your families for their support. Thank your classmates, your counselors, your coaches, but mostly? Thank your teachers. Fun fact: The word “doctor” comes from the Latin word “docere,” meaning “to teach.” In this way, we heal our world with education. Jesus Christ was a “teacher.” He exemplified our four pillars to the highest degree, and his example reminds us that love is education. I believe education is the ultimate expression of love, of selflessness. Education is providing a future not for ourselves, but for others. Of course, education involves making mistakes, and, as I mentioned earlier, being open to growing with new ideas. Seeing the value in what we don’t know. St. Francis was the first Catholic school I attended, and I learned very quickly the value within making mistakes. As Mrs. Harris always says in choir, “If you’re going to make a mistake, make a loud one, so we can fix it.” And while that has a much more literal meaning in choir class, I have taken it with me elsewhere. Over the past four years I have been no stranger to error, and I urge you all to take with you the
idea that mistakes are the best way to grow. Whether you’re playing soccer, or learning Spanish, or sitting in a calculus class with absolutely no clue what a derivative is, don’t be afraid to speak up and be wrong. Because being wrong gives you the opportunity to listen, to learn from others. I leave St. Francis with more than shared memories and amazing friends. I take what my mistakes taught me. Without these mistakes, I wouldn’t have found my faith, both in God and in my community. I wouldn’t have found what excellence means to me. I wouldn’t have found the places where my leadership was needed most. And I wouldn’t have found the true meaning and joy behind service. It is through trial and error that I discovered what these pillars mean to me. It is through my many mistakes that I kept going and felt what it truly meant to be a Troubadour. Pillars traditionally stay in place, but these we take with us, our faith, our inner excellence, the ability to lead and the need to serve. We will lean on them when we struggle for strength and seek direction. They allowed us to get into colleges and graduate. They will allow us to become doctors, teachers, engineers, lawyers, politicians, and women who change the world. Whatever the future holds, we bring brightness to it. We share our shining time as Simbas, as seniors, as Troubies, as tomorrow’s light we are all brave enough to be. St. Francis has given us this light, and now it is our time to share it with the universe. The world does not belong to us; we belong to the world. We belong to each other.
GRADUATES’ PRAYER
KELLY COLLINS Kelly Collins, a graduate of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, was a member of the Ambassador Leadership Board, a three-year Sports Medicine Intern, and a Christian Service Leader. She is a true servant leader who brings authenticity and dependability to all those she encounters. Her incredible work ethic and natural ability to adapt to a variety of challenges will be put to good use as she studies Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno. The following is Kelly’s prayer given at the Baccalaureate Mass for the Class of 2021. Heavenly Father, we pray for us, the graduates of the Class of 2021, as we take the next step in our journey. Gracious God, we thank you for the many blessings and people who have helped us get here today. God of Wisdom, we thank you for our teachers, staff, faculty, and administration who have guided us during our four years of high school. Loving God, thank you for our parents, families, and loved ones who have given us the great opportunity and blessing of our Catholic education. Creator God, thank you for each person who has impacted our lives and shaped us to be the women we are today, the women who are going out to change the world.
Generous God, bless the St. Francis Class of 2021, the twohundred and seventy-seven Simbas that make it up and watch over us as we move into the future. Give us the strength and grace to persevere during challenging times. May we be a light of hope wherever we go. Remind us to draw upon the great knowledge we have learned, the obstacles we have overcome, and the experiences we have had - while walking the halls of St. Francis. May these gifts help us create a more loving, just, and peaceful world. Stay with this class of graduates as we move beyond the campus of St. Francis, show us the great plans you have in store, and allow our futures to be ones filled with peace and hope. In Your Son’s name, we pray, Amen.

SALUTATORIAN
MARIELLE THOMAS
Marielle Thomas, a graduate of Andrew Carnegie Middle School, was chosen by her classmates to give the Salutatory address. During her time at St. Francis, she was a member of the SF A Capella Blue Skirts Group, Latin Club, and Certamen team member. In addition to her extracurricular pursuits, she is an active member in 4-H, receiving numerous awards for her projects, presentations and leadership. Her love of 4H has inspired her to be an Agricultural Business major at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. The following is Marielle’s salutatory address given at the Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2021.
Four years ago I walked through the brick walls onto the campus of St. Francis High School. This was a day I had been looking forward to for ages. I was a little terrified, very nervous, but overall incredibly excited. A new chapter had begun. I entered through the gym foyer, where all the freshmen were dropped off unless you had a cool upperclassmen carpool situation worked out. We all wore matching polos and our skirts were below our knees. We were bright eyed and bushy tailed and ready to meet new people and make some memories. The first day of freshman year we wore matching St. Francis uniforms. Today we stand together in matching graduation gowns. My experience at St. Francis has been nothing short of a wild ride, and I want to revisit some stories and things I learned over the past four years. Freshman year we were ready. Brand new backpacks stuffed with every color pen you could think of, and labeled folders and binders to match. We were nervous that year, trying to figure out which activities we were the most interested in, and where we fit in as a Troubadour. After maybe a hundred visits to Mr. Poggi’s office to remember our locker combinations, we started to get the hang of it. It was this year when we were introduced to a sisterhood unlike any other. I remember one day I was walking through the halls and I dropped my backpack. It was unzipped, and so all the previously mentioned binders, folders, and pens spilled all over the floor blocking the corridor pathway. Girls I had never met before stopped what they were doing and helped me clean up. Two minutes until class started, and they helped me clean up my school supplies. This was when I was first exposed to the most valuable element of sisterhood. We serve each other. And by serving each other, we can foster the love and passion to serve the world around us. Sophomore year we started to get a little more comfortable. We weren’t freshmen anymore, and so we felt like real high schoolers. Our only personality trait was that we got our drivers license, and made sure everyone knew it. I can still hear the giant lanyards jingling and clanking against water bottles 12
as we strutted around campus. And I can still remember seeing everyone’s keys always sticking a little bit out of their backpack’s side pocket. One of my favorite memories from this year was our class ring mass. A special mass just for us where our rings were blessed to bind us forever. That was the day my Instagram feed was overrun with ring emojis, and I’ll never forget it. Whenever I look at my ring, I feel a connection to the class of 2021, and I find comfort in the blessing that has been placed on it. It grounds me in love and reminds me to have faith in myself, in my sisters, and in God. Junior year was a year for the books--literally. We were taking hard classes, attending extracurriculars, and in our free time we tried to study for the dreaded SATs and ACTs. Those who did well on those standardized tests were crushed that colleges went test blind, others (me) were relieved. Our lives were engulfed in school. It was a constant cycle of: learn the material, study for six hours at the nearest coffee shop, study a little more in your car before school, take the test, get a B if you’re lucky, repeat. It all seemed impossible, but we did it. It was during this year that we started to establish ourselves at St. Francis. We started to become the girl we wanted to be when we were freshman. We became leaders on campus in our classes, clubs, and sports. One of my favorite memories is when we won first place in spirit during homecoming week. When we won I was surprised for just a second, but then I realized why we won. We won because we were the leading examples of sportsmanship, class unity, and hard work during the week. I’m so proud to be part of a class that has taken these ideals farther than just spirit week, and been positive leaders in our school and community. As I think about senior year, I am reminded of something comedian, Gilda Radner, once said: “I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next. Delicious ambiguity”. No one
expected our Senior year to look like this. Nevertheless, we’re standing here, together, and we persevered through it all. We persevered because this is a class full of girls who make excellence their top priority. We persevered because we are girls that choose to put in the extra work and excel in every aspect of our lives. The St. Francis High School experience is unlike any other, and I get a distinct feeling when I reflect on the past four years. The late night calls on Facetime with a study group before a test and grabbing coffee after school at F65, Mr. Norman’s class, Hula, Era, and Chingu Club dancing at rallies, hunting for spirit sticks, screaming and parading through the halls when you find a spirit stick, getting yelled at for screaming and disrupting classes when you find said spirit stick, watching SF plays and listening to Choir, Show Choir and A Capella, Tik Toks at free blocks, cheering on your friends at their sports games and matches, failing a test and crying in the bathroom,
dancing with friends at lunch and wearing blazers at school wide masses. I could go on for hours, and I’m proud to go to a school that has so much character. During the transition to online school I learned a lot. I’m not talking about learning statistics or how to psychoanalyze different texts or how to translate the original Latin in Vergil’s Aeneid. What I learned was to never for a second take anything for granted, and how to make the best out of whatever situation I’m in, and most of all, I learned that being so physically distant from my sisters is what made me love them all the more. They say distance makes the heart grow fonder, and I have experienced that firsthand this year. Our school year theme is “We Belong To Each Other,” a quote by Mother Teresa. I truly believe that. I know for a fact that I will always belong to the class of 2021, and for that I am proud. And no matter where we all end up and what we write in our pages, we will always call St. Francis our home.
BACCALAUREATE ADDRESS
JENNA PIMENTA
Jenna Pimenta, a graduate of Winston Churchill Middle School, was a member of the Retreat Team, a member of the Swim Team, and a co-captain of the Speech Team. Her gift of hospitality as well as her skills in public speaking were demonstrated in her on campus activities and made her a natural fit for the Baccalaureate welcome. Her genuine curiosity and passion for making the world a more just and compassionate place will serve her well as she studies Neuroscience at the University of California, Los Angeles, with a special interest in Neurolaw research. The following is Jenna’s address given at the Baccalaureate Mass for the Class of 2021. Class of 2021, please be seated. Greetings to Parents, Grandparents, Family, Faculty, Staff, Friends, and Students! It’s an honor to welcome you to St. Francis High School’s Baccalaureate Mass for the Class of 2021. This is our fourth and final Family Mass as students of St. Francis. Four short years ago, we were all gathered together to celebrate the Freshman Family Mass. We were filled with high hopes and expectations for what the next four years would bring and with the excitement of getting to know more than three hundred new faces. We had no idea what lay ahead of us. The journey we went on was full of highs, lows, unexpected twists and turns - and with the complications of COVID, we maybe got a little more than we bargained for - but we made it. And honestly, I can’t believe it. It feels like only yesterday we were struggling through our first round of finals, or scrambling to put together our Homecoming float, or eating too much cotton candy at what we didn’t know would be our last traditional St. Francis Day.
We’ve arrived at the end of our story together, and are about to begin 279 brand new ones. But it doesn’t feel right to say goodbye without saying thank you first, so here we are - at Baccalaureate, a mass of Thanksgiving. Because as much as it seems like it, this celebration isn’t all about us - it’s also about celebrating the people that made our journey possible; our teachers, our staffulty, our family, and our friends. We’re here to celebrate the gifts we’ve been given, gifts that are not only represented by the physical symbols at the foot of our altar, but also by the values we’ve been taught to hold. Faith, excellence, leadership, and service. The kinds of lessons we’ll carry with us far beyond our high school experience. Simbas, our journey through St. Francis has been one like no other, and I can confidently say there is no one else I would rather have experienced it with. Most of all, I want to thank you - for your support, for your leadership, for your friendship - and for the memories.

FALL 2021 15
CLASS OF 2021
LEGACY
WE CAUGHT UP WITH A FEW LEGACY MOMS & GRANDMAS FROM THE CLASS OF 2021 TO GAIN A LITTLE INSIGHT INTO ST. FRANCIS - THEN AND NOW.
BARBARA WAKEFIELD GOYETTE ’52: ROSE ’21 I am blessed with nine granddaughters but Rose is the only one who lives in the Sacramento area. I was very pleased when she chose St. Francis, my alma mater. When I attended St. Francis it was located next to the church at 26th and K Streets. Fifty-two girls graduated with me in 1952. My four years at St. Francis were happy ones. I made lifelong friends, enjoyed my high school years, and was academically well prepared to move on to UC Berkeley. The St. Francis High School that Rose attended is a much larger, more modern, more sophisticated place, but I hope Rose was just as happy as I and has learned the same values that I absorbed in my four years so long ago. Even without the Franciscan nuns in every classroom, the philosophy of St. Francis seems strongly present.
SAMYA HADDAD MELLOR ’86: REESE ’21 Having our youngest attend my alma mater has been so rewarding for both of us. Getting to walk the halls again certainly raised fabulous memories of great times in the late ’80s. Watching Reese develop spiritually while being intellectually stimulated and challenged is something I will treasure as a parent with gratitude that my parents provided me with the Saint Francis opportunity. Thrilled that Reese has also chosen our collegiate alma mater, Southern Methodist University, as her next step, and know that her journey at SFHS has prepared her well. Forever Troubies!
SANDRA KIERNAN SANDERS ’82: KAYLA ’21 As a 1982 Alumna, I knew first-hand what an extraordinary experience Kayla would have at SFHS. Every time I stepped back on campus, I experienced a flood of emotions and memories of working with Mrs. Doglietto on the St. Francis day celebrations, watching Mr. Norman’s year-end slideshows, wearing my big yellow sunglasses, along with my orange and yellow class colors, for the homecoming rallies, dancing under the lights in the quad, and attending the class retreats. Fastforward thirty-nine years and I find myself attending Kayla’s graduation. It has been fun for me to watch Kayla carve out her own path at SFHS. I am immensely proud of her academic achievements and the talents she developed in the arts program. Kayla embraced the Troubie spirit! St. Francis provided Kayla and I a unique opportunity to be involved and make our own memories together. I am very thankful for the impact the rich faith community of SFHS has had on our lives.
LYNDA UBUNGEN SOOHOO ’86: JULIE ’21 What it meant to me for Julie to attend SFHS was to assure she receives an excellent academic education and to continue to follow her Franciscan catholic faith. My education at SFHS prepared me for college academically, given me the strength and belief I can succeed in many ways in life. I have seen Julie blossom at SFHS. She has academically flourished, learned to take on challenges and skills to help her deal with what the future can bring to her but most of all SFHS has strengthened her faith with God.

FALL 2021 17
A CELEBRATION OF
GIVING & GIVERS “For it is in giving that we receive.”
St. Francis of Assisi
DIRECTOR OF ADVANCEMENT
MARYANNE KELLY
TO OUR GENEROUS ST. FRANCIS COMMUNITY, The 2020-21 year was significant for many reasons, but the one nearest and dearest to my heart, is the faithful support our St. Francis community bestowed on our students and school. It calls to mind the 1923 hymn by Thomas Chisholm, “Great is thy Faithfulness.” This song was inspired by the simple realization that God is at work in our lives on a daily basis. This year’s Statement of Community Support is a testimony that God was at work in our community on a daily basis during a year that saw an abundance of challenges. For that, our entire community is grateful and our students were the ultimate beneficiaries. Year-after-year, the St. Francis Fund, our day-of-giving (Thankful Thursday), and our special fundraising events sustain our operating budget and provide an outstanding educational experience for today’s Troubies. While nothing was “normal” last year, our community came together in big and small ways in support of our students, which enabled St. Francis to pivot, adapt and recreate as many student-centric experiences as possible culminating in an in-person graduation. Thankful Thursday, our day-of-giving that specifically supports the tuition assistance needs of our students, saw engagement from our current community and our alumnae community near and far. This is the ultimate feel-good event as together we ensure more students can benefit from a St. Francis education. Although special events needed to look significantly different last year, it was a testimony to our St. Francis community that when life gave us lemons, we gathered in spirit to crack some crab and still have the same sell-out Crab Feed event we are used to hosting. These events are what brought us together and reminded us of the special community we have. Our endowment and special purpose funds enable us to build a secure and sustainable future for the Troubies yet to grace our halls. We saw significant growth in these areas in 2020-21. The endowment shores up funds for future tuition assistance, an important endeavor when we know 25-30 percent of students and families benefit from this assistance each year. Those who invest in our students form the foundation for the St. Francis experience. Our campus facilities provide the place where this sense of community is fostered. By enhancing and updating our campus through special purpose funds we ensure that St. Francis remains a relevant and vibrant all-girls option graduating competent and confident women who will change the world. Many have jumped on board to envision and help build A New Day Forward. This Statement of Community Support recognizes all of you — current and past parents, grandparents, alumnae, students, faculty and staff (whose generosity knows no bounds), and our numerous friends and supporters. Today, as we have for the last 80 years, the commitment to providing a quality Catholic education in a spiritually-thriving community remains central to the St. Francis mission. Your faithfulness is the bedrock of our mission. Thank you to our St. Francis community who faithfully gave of your time, talent and treasure to make the 2020-21 year a testimony to faith, mercy and love. Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
MaryAnne Kelly Director of Advancement FALL 2021 19

FINANCIAL INFORMATION St. Francis Catholic High School maintains a high level of fiscal responsibility and stewardship of its funds, which are monitored by the school administration, managed by the Finance and Business Office and governed through policies approved by the Board of Trustees. The annual budgeting process is led by the Director of Finance, along with the Directors and Heads of each Department, with the support of the President and the Business Office. This process results in an annual budget that is approved by the Board of Trustees. The school is audited annually by an independent accounting firm. With education costs continuing to increase each year, the St. Francis Annual Fund was established to offset the actual cost of a St. Francis education. Every tax-deductible gift to the St. Francis Fund helps cover the gap between what a family pays for tuition and the school’s annual operating costs, making a difference in the lives of nearly 1,000 young women, each and every day. Recognizing our desire to meet our current operating needs while building a secure and sustainable future, St. Francis is making strides in growing its endowment. Endowed giving allows donors the opportunity to support the students and programs of St. Francis Catholic High School in perpetuity. Earnings from our endowment primarily support the tuition assistance program, which welcomes hundreds of Troubadours and their families to experience the tradition of a St. Francis High School education.

CURRENT PARENTS
We remain grateful to our current parents who actively support our mission. In addition to fulfilling their tuition obligation, the majority go above and beyond to provide the financial resources to help other students and enhance the overall St. Francis experience. We appreciate their generosity and thank them for their greatest gift to St. Francis…their daughters. PARENTS OF ALUMNAE
The continuing commitment made to St. Francis each year by the families of our alumnae is greatly appreciated. This past year the school was the beneficiary of support from both parents of recent graduates, as well as from families whose association with St. Francis began decades ago. Thank you for helping St. Francis maintain our pillars of faith, excellence, leadership, and service.
