XJump is the biggest trampoline park in Denmark with an area of 5.500 M2 filled with trampolines.
Here you can jump in our foam pit, play soccer on a trampoline, beat your friends in Wipe Out or try our obstacle course.
We have challenges and room for all kids as well as adults with a childish soul. At our park we have employees who are certified in trampolin jumps and who are always prepared to teach you a jump.
If you are not in for a jump we also serve coffee in our café where you can also enjoy slush ice and a bite to eat.

Copenhagen is one large attraction in itself, as many of the cobblestone streets and rows of old Danish houses are much like they have been for centuries. Along with this, there are also beautiful modern attractions, that create an amazing combination of a both modern and historical feel.
More than 60 museums all tell their own unique story about the land, the city and the Danish people. Every story is worth learning, so if you would like it, there is a special ticket which allows you to see as many as possible in one, two or three days. Some museums also have special days when no admission is charged.
Amalienborg, the royal castle to which the royal family sometimes resides, is a popular tourist sight and it is wonderful to see the changing of the guard at the Palace Square that takes place every day at noon. You can tell if they are in residence when a swallowtail flag flies on the mast, if they aren't in her North Zealand summer home, Fredensborg Palace.
A walk along colourful and picturesque Nyhavn Canal dating from 1673, when it was built to connect the inner city to the sea, reveals the best of historic Copenhagen with old but well-preserved architecture and wooden boats showcasing the city's maritime history. The famous fairy-tale writer Hans Christian Andersen lived in no. 20, from 1834-38, where he wrote his first stories.
Within Denmark’s capital exists another world called Christiania. It’s a small area within the city that proclaimed its independence from the state in 1971, and an intriguing place to visit and experience, dominated largely by a freethinking 'hippie' culture. Visitors can enjoy the neighbourhood's peaceful green environment and its magical combination of village and metropolitan life.
In Copenhagen you are never far from the water and great architecture. Water, space and light are the key elements of the recent architectural boom in Copenhagen. If you take a stroll on the waterfront you will see the monumental architectural sights; the Black Diamond royal library, the Royal Danish Playhouse and finally the wonderful bicycle bridges at Nyhavn and Christianshavn that connect all parts of the city in a new and modern way.

Copenhagen City Hall built 1894 – 1905, is one of the world’s most important works within the Arts and Crafts movement.
NB: However the tower is closed throughout 2023 due to renovation and until further notice.
The architect
Architect Martin Nyrop (1849-1921) had totally free hands, designing everything, from keys and doorknobs to the construction, from the basement to the top of the tower. It´s a marvelous “gesamtwerk”.
The theme:
The theme of the City Hall is our history, of how Copenhagen developed from a small fishing village on the shores of Øresund to become a great thriving city of business and trade. It’s the people’s tale, a journey from the myths to present day modern democracy. Nyrop let historians decide which historic events to write on the walls. The architect himself used other means to tell the story. He used building styles and craftmanship from ancient Nordic culture, decorating seashells, rope, basketmaking, in other words, techniques going back a thousand years. He then combined his architectural the tale with modern techniques: electricity, hot and cold water in the pipes and elevators hidden in the walls. The City Hall of Copenhagen was both midevial in style and the most modern building in Denmark in 1905. The crescendo is the glass roof in the hall measuring 24 x 44 meters, the largest such engineering work in northern Europe. The building can be likened to Jules Verne and early science fiction.
Three historical events stick out: Bishop Absalon built the first castle 1167; the battle with the Swedish king known as “the Storm of Copenhagen”, the night between 10th - 11th of February 1659 and the day known as “Folketoget”, the 21st of March 1848, when the Danish king Frederik VII promised to step back from sovereign rule. The golden figure above the main gate shows Bishop Absalon, the founder of Copenhagen. The coat of
arms above the gate symbolizes the strength of the bourgeoisie who fought the Swedish attack and saved Denmark. But most important, the tower of the City Hall symbolizes our democracy.

Bicycle culture is one of the reasons I moved to Copenhagen. I have a drivers’ license and enjoy driving a car, yet in a car you generally find yourself in a bubble, sealed off from the world. On a bicycle, you’re face to face, human to human, with all your fellow commuters. Slightly-late-to-the office workers, small schoolchildren beneath very big bike helmets, trim grannies zipping ahead of you on their electric cycles – you’ll meet them all in the Copenhagen bike lanes.
Bike infrastructure is not an afterthought in Copenhagen, as it is so many big cities. Most busy streets have separate raised lanes in both directions for bicycle traffic. There are also bicycle-only highways that cut through the city in places cars can’t go, and several cross-harbor bridges for bicycle and pedestrian traffic alone.
As a tourist, you can’t say you’ve truly experienced Copenhagen if you haven’t seen it over the handlebars of a bicycle. Many hotels have bikes for their guests to borrow, and there are also bicycle rental shops around town. The shared electric bikes you
book with an app are great for short trips in the center of the city, but if you want to venture out a little further – say, to Bispebjerg Cemetery to see the cherry trees blossom –you’ll benefit from a lighter bike that can go up hills.
That said, there are relatively few hills in Copenhagen. The city’s flatness is one of the reasons bicycling is so popular. But Denmark’s changeable weather means you might face the dreaded “modvind,” or a headwind blowing from the direction your bicycle is supposed to be going. On a pretty spring day this might be a sweet breeze and a mild inconvenience. On a dark black evening in the depths of winter, as icy pellets angle into your eyes, it can be a horror.
And make no mistake, Copenhageners bike all year round, summer or winter, rain or shine. If you are in the city on a wet day, you may see bicyclists in “rain suits”, which is a kind of plastic tracksuit that allows them to ride through the rain and arrive looking somewhat presentable at their destination.
Biking to work is part of Copenhagen cul-
ture. While cars are common in the suburbs, the hassle of parking and the high cost of fuel means many city residents avoid owning one.
In some countries, having a shiny and powerful car is an executive status symbol, but in Denmark many high-powered business leaders bike to work.
You can spot them in their brightly colored racing Spandex, whooshing past everyone else in the bike lane as they speed towards their very important business. On arrival, they take a quick shower at the company gym before dressing up in their office attire. (Competitive biking events in Denmark have largely replaced golf as the best way to network with movers and shakers.)
Do bike in Copenhagen, but make sure to follow the rules. Stay in the bike lane and stay to the right so that quicker cyclists can pass you. Pedestrians crossing the lane have the right of way, especially if they are getting off a bus. If you’re bicycling into an intersection, be certain that the vehicle next to you isn’t turning right into your path – this is how
a lot of accidents happen. And if you’re planning to turn, signal. Just reach out your arm in the direction you plan to go.

With a total of 120 kvm, the dogs have plenty of room to play, run or sniff the green grass. When the dogs are lodged in the dog hotel, we aim to keep it as relaxed and quiet as possible. The walls between the boxes are stable, so the dogs don’t stress each other out. We feed the dogs twice daily. Hardly anyone, has been to Bornholm without being enchanted by its charm. These extremely valuable skills delight tourists, the more so that the inhabitants of the island are eager to share their knowledge and art with interested visitors.
Bornholm offers tourists great cuisine –especially the famous "Sun over Gudhjem" – smoked herring with yolk, slices of thick rye bread and radish. Danes can do miracles with herring, but the islanders are truly masters of this matter.

If you want to explore something outside of the Danish capital, Helsingør is a cultural coastal city and home of Shakespeare’s “Hamlet”, also known as Elsinore. You can either catch a train from Copenhagen to Helsingør, it takes about 45 minutes, or drive along the scenic coastline heading north.
Visit beautiful Kronborg, a renaissance castle built in 1574, overlooking Øresund. The royal court was known for its lavish lifestyle and association with traders, diplomats and aristocrats – something that inspired Shakespeare’s play about Prince Hamlet, who famously said: “To be or not to be, that is the question”. Head down the cold corridors underneath the castle to see the giant sculpture of the sleepy soldier, Holger Danske. According to old narrations Holger Danske will wake up and fight for the country of Denmark in case of an emergency. Hopefully he will stay asleep until the end of time!
In a charming yellow house across from Kronborg, is a cute little coffee roasting company that imports beans from more than 20 different countries. The coffee shop is a former cafeteria, and for 350 years it provided
the castle’s soldiers with food. Fuel up on some delicious coffee before you head to the M/S Maritime Museum of Denmark.
The award-winning museum is a true treasure for people interested in learning more about Denmark as a leading maritime nation. If you are having trouble locating the museum, you probably aren’t the first – the museum is below ground in the middle of the Culture Harbor. Simply follow the sloping bridges down to the old dry dock.
Be sure to also check out the Danish Museum of Science & Technology, where both adults and children can interact with various forms of technology. Get behind the wheel of vintage cars, start the engine in a majestic airplane and experience the Soyuz space capsule that took Andreas Mogensen, Danish astronaut, to space.
Never do anything on an empty stomach, so why not eat some fresh fish and seafood while enjoying the view of Øresund? Among others, Restaurant Kaj and Restaurant Strejf both serve delicious meals from oysters to traditional open sandwiches.

Bakkehuset is an important heritage site with a remarkable story of the Danish Golden Age and era of Romanticism. Discover Kamma and Knud Lyne Rahbek’s authentically furnished home from the early 19th century where the house was a meeting place for a cultural and literary circle of significant and creative personalities such as Hans Christian Andersen, Adam Oehlenschläger and J.L. Heiberg. The museum with its unique collection of furniture, paintings, books, letters and personal possessions has long been a hub for the study and appreciation of literature, culture and art from the 18th and 19th century. Kamma Rahbek herself was a creative and selfpossessed woman, known for her beautifully handcrafted boxes. Also today, Bakkehuset is buzzing with art and culture. The famous tales of Hans Christian Andersen work as inspiration for creative activities in the cozy family area, Eventyrakademiet. Surrounding the museum, a romantic and historic garden offers lovely strolls before ending up at the museum café, Orangeriet, where you can enjoy tea, coffee, beer, wine and traditional open sandwiches.

Deep below the green lawns of Søndermarken
lies a secret, sprawling underground world. The darkness, coldness and dampness envelopes you as you venture into the huge 4,400 m² old water reservoir, reminiscent of long-forgotten cathedrals and gloomy catacombs. Cisternerne once contained the supply of drinking water for the Danish capital and could hold as much as 16 million liters of clean water. By 1933, the cisterns ceased their function as a reservoir for drinking water, and they were finally drained in 1981. Today, Cisternerne act as a spectacular setting for art exhibitions and events where the singularity of its architecture and atmosphere remains a core attraction.
In 2023, Cisternerne presents Weaving the light, an exhibition created by the South Korean artist, Kimsooja. The audience is invited into an ethereal space where light, projected into iridescent color spectra, transforms the former water reservoir into a sacred sea of light. The light radiates like brushstrokes on transparent canvases and breaks the darkness. The work is comprised of diffraction grating film that is mounted on transparent panels, which altogether let light pass through a microscopic surface of horizontal and vertical prisms. Rays of light split into vibrant colors that dynamically weave in and out of the subterranean colonnades.

Østerbro is located just north of the Copenhagen city centre in green surroundings.
Back in the 1800s, the area was a nobuild zone dominated by grazing cows and grassy meadows, making it a favourite excursion spot for Copenhageners wishing to escape the noise of the city.
Today, when Danes seek to Østerbro for some fresh air, they go for a stroll or run along Sortedams Lake – one of three rectangular lakes – which also forms the city’s oldest and most distinctive typographic feature.
Østerbro offers many recreational areas, including Copenhagen's largest park: Fælledparken. It is used all year for sports, fun, sunbathing, strolls, gatherings, parties, outdoor theatre and concerts.
Hans Christian Andersen’s statue of the Little Mermaid sits at Langelinie, a stretch along the waterfront on the border of Østerbro and inner city. If you plan to pay her a visit, make sure you also go for a stroll around Kastellet, which is one of the bestpreserved fortifications in Northern Europe.
Østerbro is one of Copenhagen's most attractive and expensive living areas, which also reflects the range of exclusive designer boutiques, cafés and fine restaurants. With its quiet cobblestone, tree-lined streets, excellent shopping possibilities and cafe life, it makes for a good day trip.
However, Østerbro has not always been the nice and fancy place it is today. When Copenhagen was finally allowed to outgrow the ramparts following a cholera epidemic, Østerbro wasn't build up as quickly as its neighbours, Nørrebro and Vesterbro.
It was mainly the bourgeoisie, who moved to Østerbro, settling in pompous villas surrounded by green gardens, which has stuck to the district. Many of the mansions still stand, but a lot of them are occupied by foreign embassies.
Visit the small villages of cute, old townhouses, namely the Potato Rows (Kartoffelrækkerne) or Brumleby, which were built in the late 1800s to provide workers with better housing outside the city walls.

Some countries talk a lot about their traditional food, but rarely eat it: the locals prefer pizza and burgers. Yet Danes really do love their traditional smørrebrød open faced sandwiches.
Smørrebrød, which translates to “buttered bread”, is lunchtime food, often sold in small shops that open at 7am so tradesmen and women can purchase a few håndmadder, or hand foods, for their lunch break.
A classic Danish open-faced sandwich is a stjerneskud, or a shooting star, with fried fish, shrimp, asparagus, and a slice of lemon on top of the wonderful Danish rye bread. But you can also select roast beef with a mustardy mayonnaise, eggs with shrimp, pâté with bacon, or salmon topped with a fresh spring of dill. Vegetarians can opt for a potato-based version with crispy roasted onions.
They are pre-prepared, ready to eat, and pair very well with a non-alcoholic lunchtime beer. A big appetite might be able to finish three or four at sitting; smaller appetites can probably fill up with two.
