Thursday 15th September The Union - What We Do More than just a bar and a coffee shop, your Union does more than you expect! You’ve met our Societies and Sports Clubs, seen our venues and probably met the Union President. Come along to meet the elected officers and discover what we have lined up as we work to Make Students’ Lives Better. Our Equalities Officers, Sports Executive, Environmental Projects and more will all be there and you’ll have the opportunity to find out more about projects and campaigns lined up for 2016/17. 10am until 4pm, Atrium Art Crawl Join us for a unique opportunity to be introduced to three of the most creative spaces on campus. Starting at Pathfoot where Deputy Curator Sarah Bromage will introduce the University Art Collection, she’ll then take you on a whistle-stop tour of the sculpture trail before introducing you to Sam Gurrey, Macrobert Art’s Centre Creative Learning Officer. Sam will show you around and tell you more about our exhibition Macrobert: A Special Building. Last, but not least you’ll visit Artlink Central’s Creative Kitchen to see and hear about their inclusive arts practice. 11am, Meet at the Front Entrance of the Pathfoot Building, FREE Pizza time!
