Your Union Team 2013/14

We are your Voice The Union not only represents you to the University, but to the Government and other important institutions. Your Union organises and runs campaigns related to student interests throughout the year, and these campaigns are as strong as the input that you have in them, so don’t hesitate to get in touch if there is a cause we should take up. Democratically elected officers shape the direction and policies of your Union, and so do you, so make sure you have your say!

Highlands & Islands Officer My name's Dave, I'm a second year nursing student at the Highland campus and I'm the Highlands and Islands Officer. Its my job to represent and promote the interest of students at both the Inverness and Stornaway Campuses within the Student Union. Over the coming year I hope to have a chance to see many of you. But meanwhile, if you feel there is anything that the Union can do to help you – like setting up a new club- then please don't hesitate to drop me a line at daa00029@stir.ac.uk.

School Officer I’m Caitlin and I am the Highland and Islands School Officer. I am a second year nursing student and am based at the Highland Campus in Inverness. As your School Officer it is my job to raise any academic issues and concerns that any of you may have, for both the Inverness and Stornoway campus. I will be travelling down to Stirling regularly, so feel free to send me an email with anything that you would like me to bring forward to the University at cat00021@stir.ac.uk. I look forward to representing you all over the coming year.

Class Reps Class Reps work together to ensure that you get the best out of Stirling that you can, and to take your opinions and issues to the University and beyond. These positions are available to anyone on the course and each module you take will have a course rep. If you have any queries or if you are interested in the position for 2014/15 then please get in touch with the Union.

Relax & Enjoy Yourself! Now that all of the serious stuff is out of the way, I hope that you get a chance to relax and enjoy yourself this year between all of your assignments and placements, and really appreciate the unique and wonderful experience that Stirling University can offer you. Very best of luck to you from Your Stirling Students’ Union.
