Stephen Ministers, please watch your email for more information. We will be studying this work from Rachel Held Evans. Our Own Valerie Taylor presents... Connect, Connecting, Connected with Valerie Taylor Saturday, January 7, 2023 9:00am to 3:00pm with 1 hour break for lunch Exploring our connections is valuable work when we hope to live a fuller, more meaningful life. This one-day workshop explores how to connect with our true self, moves on to examine how we are connecting with others, and finally considers the need to be connected to that which is greater than ourselves. Throughout the day we will listen, discuss, reflect, laugh, meditate, and celebrate connections. Location: In person at The Meaningful Life Center, 116 Carr St., Knoxville, TN 37919 To register or for more information: https://meaningfullifecenter.org/project/connect/

A Place at the Table will be making sandwiches on the 2nd Sunday of each month, and we need your help! Sunday, January 8, we will be assembling the sandwiches after the 2nd service. We are also in need of donations of bread, meat and cheese, or peanut butter and jelly. We will be making sandwiches for 150 people, so we will need 15 loaves of bread and plenty of sandwich meat. You can drop them off at church anytime during regular office hours this week or bring them Sunday, January 8 before 2nd service. You can also make sandwiches at home and bring them on Sunday. Our neighbors are grateful for the meals we help provide. If you have any questions, please reach out to Clarence or call the church office.

W.I.N.E. Meeting January 12 at 6:30 pm We will plan to take W.I.N.E. on the road next Thursday, Jan 12! Natasha Patchen will be hosting us at her home and showing us her amazing nativity collection! We will still plan to meet there at 6:30pm. Please email Kristen Williamson at kwilliamson@utmck.edu for details to join us!
