Team Spotlight – Tuck Pointing Announcing that we have just paid our last installment for the Tuck-Pointing Project. We have paid $107,930. The main part of the building facing Broadway and the two towers including the chimney have been restored. The company says the rest of the stonework looks good for now. Our next building need will be to contact the stained glass people about the Fully-restored chimney! rotting frame for the plexiglass cover for the stain glass windows, a need to replaster the wall in the sanctuary and repaint it, and to look at the wall in the basement where the mortar is disintegrating. All of this is a result of the state of the exterior wall prior to tuck pointing. We have money leftover in the Tuckpointing Fund to hopefully cover those improvements. HUGE THANKS to the Tuck Pointing team for all their efforts in making this monumental task come to fruition!!! It was a big deal… (Neil Fischer, Dale Teague, Geoff Rolik, Laura Trout, Darrell Murrell, Dave Sweany, Nancy Maland and more!) Nancy
