BTEC Sport & Exercise Science Results 2017 Cohort of 15 students: • Star performance: Three students achieved a triple distinction* Extended Diploma (equivalent of 3 A* A Levels) • 28 Entries at Subsidiary Diploma, Diploma and Extended Diploma for Level 3 Sports Studies: 11 distinctions* and 13 distinctions achieved • 100% pass rate across all BTEC courses
We recognise that there is more than one route to university and a career and have introduced a range of BTEC qualifications. A Levels in Art (Fine Art), Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Drama & Theatre Studies, Economics, English, French, Geography, History, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Music, Photography, Psychology, Physics, Product Design, Sociology and Spanish. General National Vocational Qualifications in Applied Science, Business Studies, Creative Media, ICT and Sport. Sixth Form allows students greater freedom to choose their subjects for in-depth study, and more flexibility in how they use their time. Our state-of-the-art Sixth Form Centre is just over a year old. The airy, spacious accommodation includes seminar rooms, rooms for quiet study and impressive communal areas for relaxation and socialising. As well as their own space, our Sixth Formers have our beautiful 60acre campus at hand, with its outstanding sports facilities.
