W elcome Welcome to St. Mark’s International School Bangkok, a place where students are challenged and inspired to develop the skills and confidence to strive towards achieving personal goals and to contribute to the wider community.

We believe that the future provides promising avenues for competent young people who possess skills in several languages including English, Mandarin and Thai. Today's young people need not only to have language skills, but also to possess good cognitive skills and be individuals of fine moral character who are physically fit and optimistic about life. These are the primary values that St. Mark's tries to develop in our students, hoping that students will become successful and valuable citizens of tomorrow's world. St. Mark's community is truly international. It is small enough for us to focus on each student as a unique individual learner, yet large enough to be able to offer a broad range of choices, within the formal curriculum as well as co-curricular activities. An excellent education is the best gift we can give our young people today. We warmly invite you to see what St. Mark's International School has to offer your child.

P rimary C urriculum The aim of our Primary Program is to intellectually stimulate and personally support each student in developing a life-long love of learning. The broad and balanced curriculum has depth and breadth which reflects the complexities of today’s world. Within the curriculum structure, there is flexibility to focus on each individual. Our students are given the opportunity to learn 3 languages and that language learning is fostered through a broad and challenging core curriculum where students are given the chance to strive for their personal best. Our language curricula in English, Mandarin and Thai are well-regarded for their breadth, as well as depth, and are aimed at developing competent speaking, reading and writing skills in our primary students. The primary curriculum builds a solid foundation in Mathematics and the Sciences in our students. Adopting Singapore's Mathematics and Science curriculum, we recognise the importance of a solid understanding of numeracy and the sciences, and our curriculum facilitates each student's acquisition of these fundamental skills. Our students' learning is enhanced by stimulating hands-on mathematics manipulatives, games and laboratory experiments, through our well-balanced curriculum.

C urriculum The secondary program provides an exciting, innovative and vibrant learning environment and opportunities. The most profound learning occurs when there is a healthy relationship between teacher and student. We focus our attention on relationships between all members of the Secondary School community and value those relationships in achieving quality outcomes for students. The curriculum aims to engage students and foster their interest in major key learning areas. Adopting a mixed curriculum that takes the best of Singapore's Mathematics, Science and Mandarin program, together with an innovative and solid Australian and Cambridge approved curriculum, students are equipped with a solid foundation, which successfully prepares them for the Year 8 to 10 Cambridge IGCSE Program.
