This unit provides students with skills to evaluate usability and interaction of a given system or interface. This course covers a variety of techniques that can be used to create prototypes for evaluation while including the user together with routine procedures that can be carried out among a group of experts. At the end of this unit the student will have acquired the responsibility and autonomy to: — research and investigate the importance of Evaluating Usability; — carry out a variety of informal and formal methods of evaluation; — report on findings and document the evaluation process. The assessment for this unit will be computed using the following weighting system: — 30% Assessed Coursework — 70% Examinations
