This unit applies the principles of Interaction Design to mobile technology. Mobile devices are becoming the natural device for social and business interactions. This unit provides the learners with the ability understand the difference in interaction on mobile platforms and what it takes to build mobile applications. At the end of this unit the student will have acquired the responsibility and autonomy to: — differentiate between types of Mobile devices and platforms; — apply prototyping skill for mobile apps; — identify tools that are required for prototyping, building and publishing apps. The assessment for this unit will be computed using the following weighting system: — 30% Assessed Coursework — 70% Examinations
