Simone is the beating heart of the Royston Football Club family. She holds the position of Youth Club Secretary as well as providing support across a number of areas in the club such as fundraising and tournament committees. She has endless energy and passion for the club and it comes across in everything she does for them. From the moment the kids join the club, from aged 3 in Mini Crows, which was set up by Simone and others; they are greeted with enthusiasm, support and most importantly, the opportunity to have fun. Simone’s many contributions extend to the wider district where she also holds the role of league secretary alongside four other people, for the various leagues the club plays in.

“I am very passionate about the game and the development of the kids and it’s amazing to see so many children come through our club’s programme. A lot of work goes into putting on so many games across all age groups every weekend. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the contributing volunteers that make it all possible. I have had the pleasure of watching all of my own children play for Royston, where they are all still active in the game at (U16, U10, U8), my eldest has played through all ages groups. I would encourage any parents looking to keep their kids active and make friends to get in touch with the club and become part of our growing community.”
