The quality was pristine” THE CHALLENGE This Abattoir had floors that were constantly wet with animal matter, blood, organic and fatty acids. This area also required frequent high heat wash downs. Steam, cold, humidity, thermal shock, constant immersion conditions and the maintenance of sanitary standards were major, additional challenges.

THE STONHARD SOLUTION Stonclad UT was formulated specifically for resistance to repeated thermal shock for temperature deltas up to 160ºF or 89ºC. Stonclad UT possesses excellent chemical, abrasion and impact resistance characteristics. Additionally, Stonclad UT provides increased resistance to cold, damp substrates and/or humidity - all conditions that are commonly found in meat and poultry plants. Stonclad UT will provide maintenance-free protection and high performance for an extended period. Independent testing on Stonclad UT has proven its superior resistance to thermal shock and chemical exposures over other epoxy and urethane formulations. Again, conditions that are commonly found in the Food and Beverage Industry.
