The York Energy Centre is a natural gas fired simple cycle peaking generation plant with a contract capacity of 393MW. The project was developed on a greenfield site of approximately five acres located in the Township of King in Ontario. Five Star Fluid Grout 100 was used extensively on this site including the grout support to the vital power generation equipment which include
two Siemens SGT6-Pac 5000F Turbines. A total of 10 skids of Five Star Fluid Grout 100 and 2 Skids of Five Star Instant Grout were supplied. The grout was selected by EPC Contractor Lill Difazio based on their prior experience with Five Star Grout for this type of work and because of our reputation for trusted reliability required on such a high profile project.
