Due to its age, areas of the building’s foundation began to crack. A solution was required that could not only repair and strengthen the foundation, but would not affect the daily operation of the printer or the appearance of the building.
CarboComp SU is an epoxy carbon fibre laminate composed of unidirectional orientated carbon fibres for reinforcement of structures. It is used to reinforce beams, floors, walls and columns made of concrete, wood or steel. In addition, it strengthens bridges and buildings, repairs original bearing capacity and local strengthening of construction elements, increases load bearing capacity and repairs construction errors.
