A noteworthy install was recently completed in a school consisting of 6,000 sq.ft. of seamless flooring spread across eight classrooms. Due to the type of environment, the floor needed to be both abrasion-resistant and soundproof while keeping aesthetics in mind.

Stonhard recommended Stontec FE, a flooring system that blends a stain-resistant surface with decorative flair, offering a colour-flake design in almost unlimited colour options, making it a perfect solution for the classrooms.
Additionally, Stonclad GS and Stonkote GS4 were used for the repairs to the existing slab after removing the old floors. To finish it off with a beautiful satin look, a coat of Stonseal SK6 SF was applied, providing UV-resistance, and increased abrasion, chemical and stain resistance while improving cleanability.
