StonFlow is designed to be applied in a range of thicknesses from a feather edge to 1 ¼ inches with an impressive open time and excellent self-healing properties for an exceptionally smooth finish. Our engineered system also maintains high early strength gain and excellent bond strength to allow early walk on times, minimizing disruption for the whole job site and of course follow on trades. This high early strength gain, coupled with minimal shrinkage and outstanding crack resistance allow subsequent finishes such as tile, engineered timber, wood and laminates to be applied as early as 24 hours and help to further speed up work time in critical areas such as corridors, industrial process areas, public concourses and anywhere on a job site where lack of access means a lack of progress. Our investment in pumping equipment and manpower allows us to strategically locate machines across Canada from the Maritimes to Vancouver with teams of trained specialist installers ready for any challenge. Our equipment safely mixes the material and pumps it into place helping to get installers off their hands and knees and is capable of delivering an impressive 7,500 litres of StonFlow in a working day or up to 24,000ft2 of material at 1/8th inch. StonFlow self-levelling screed can be applied over StonFlow OP2 Primer on the same day allowing smaller projects to be prepared, primed and pumped in one day. For heavier duty applications and when using StonFlow with Stonhard Epoxy Systems, we recommend the use of an epoxy primer with broadcast aggregates to further enhance the bond and reduce the possibility of pin holing.
