CARIBBEAN HOLIDAY WITH A DRUM Guadeloupe is a small island in the Caribbean sea. It is small but rich in nature and culture. Here you can explore many beaches, jungle or mountain walks and experience the natural changes in the environment. The local culture is a vibrant and dynamic mix of many nations that came to live in Guadeloupe – Africa, Asia, India, Europa.

Every morning we collect you from your residence and take you on exciting nature adventure. We recommend to alternate the hikes and the boat trips as it gives you enough time to rest, relax and enjoy.

Optional - every afternoon we can take our djembe drums to a great natural spots to play. All you need to do – enjoy the sound  If you wish more excitement - you can join in and try various rhythms of Guadeloupe and West Africa.

CARIBBEAN HOLIDAY WITH A DRUM Day 1 After your long flight we spend a relaxing day on the wild Caribbean beach.

On the way we stop at the bakery to buy sandwiches and drinks for lunch.

What we do today: • swim • learn about Guadeloupe – geography, history, culture, traditions, etc.

CARIBBEAN HOLIDAY WITH A DRUM Day 2 Today is a hiking trip to waterfalls Chutes du Carbet.

High energy snack is necessary .

What we do today: • hike to waterfall • learn about the flora of Guadeloupe • swim in the waterfall basin • hike back • lunch at restaurant Jangal Kafe (not included in the price) • relax in the hot river • drum session (optional)

CARIBBEAN HOLIDAY WITH A DRUM Day 3 Today we visit the coral barrier to witness ever changing nature – vanishing island I’lle de Caret and emerging island I’llet Blanc.

What we do today: • boat to the Caret island • learn about coral barrier • snorkel at the barrier • lunch (included in the price) • boat to Blanc island • drum session (optional)

CARIBBEAN HOLIDAY WITH A DRUM Day 4 Another great hiking trip to a very top of the island - La Sufriere.

On the way we stop at the bakery to buy sandwiches and drinks for lunch.

What we do today: • hike to the top of the volcano • learn about geology of Guadeloupe • lunch (not included in the price) • hike back • relax in hot waters • drum session (optional)

CARIBBEAN HOLIDAY WITH A DRUM Day 5 Today is a relaxing day on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world at Les Saintes.

On the way we stop at the bakery to buy sandwiches and drinks for lunch.

What we do today: • take a boat to Les Saintes • snorkel • swim • lunch (not included in the price) • take a boat back • drum session (optional)

CARIBBEAN HOLIDAY WITH A DRUM Day 6 Snorkeling with colourful fish and the turtles is the highlight of the day.

On the way we stop at the bakery to buy sandwiches and drinks for lunch.

What we do today: • take a kayak to the Pigeon island (15 min,) • snorkel • learn about fish and corals • lunch (not included in the price) • drum session (optional)

CARIBBEAN HOLIDAY WITH A DRUM Day 7 Today we relax on the wild beach with a great barbeque fish picnic.

What we do today: • visit the east part of Guadeloupe Pointe du Chateaux • swim to find conch shells • barbeque lunch (included in the price) • drum session (optional)
