News from St Mary’s Church
No matter what pet you share your life with, you are invited to bring it to our Pet Blessing Service at St Mary’s Church at 4.00pm on Sunday 17 July. The service will be held outside. If it rains we will hold the service inside the church. I love a pet service and the chance to say a pet’s name and bless it. Christians believe that God created the world and gave it to us humans as a beautiful gift to look after. When I bless a pet, I don’t make it holy. Your pet is already holy because God created it.
