Ihave found over the years that many boaters also love to ride motorcycles. We all love to feel the wind in our face. (Maybe that’s why dogs love to stick their heads out of car windows.)

The bond of friendship runs deep with motorcycle enthusiasts. Be it a breakfast ride, a night ride, or a long road trip, motorcyclists are always up for it. When you ride a motorcycle, most riders wave to each other even when they don’t know the other person. No matter which motorcycle you ride or which part of the country you’re from, there is always the bond of brotherhood or sisterhood that brings motorcyclists together. We have an experienced, passionate group of riders that have traveled the Continents on motorcycles together.

We are currently in discussion to decide where to plan the next event. Cuba and Peru are the current options.

We welcome everyone at SPYC to join us. Weather permitting, we usually gather on Thursday or Friday mornings for a ride. The rides are very scenic and always involve a lunch somewhere unique and delicious.

If you seldom ride or ride a lot, please join us. You’ll be glad you did. The spirit of friendship and community is second to none. To join our group and to keep updated with our events, please contact: James Irwin at: JamesIrwin1231@gmail.com

Life is better at the Beach with Girlfriends! With over 100 members strong in the Ladies Beach Club, we are off to a wonderful year! To recap:

- September we hosted a special event comemorating the "Festival of States" in St. Petersburg which began in 1917. Attending was Rita Gould, the first "Sun Goddess", who crowned Linda Watson "Queen" at the Setpember event.

- October was a great event where Karin Fortin shared events, which took place in 1692, that led to the New England Witch Trials.

- This year's November Red Carpet Fashion Show is not to be missed! The show, presented by Nancy Swartz, of So Chic Consignment Boutique in St. Petersburg, is sure to provide a style for everyone. Please see our ad below for complete details.

Come check out the many special interest groups the Ladies Beach Club has to offer: MahJongg, Bridge, Book Club, Lunch Bunch, Events Around the Town & Artsy Ladies.
