Acorns

It has been wonderful to see the snow this week.!
The Acorns were able to dress appropriately, run about and about enjoy the coldness and experience the ice falling and landing. We were also able to make the most of a cold but beautiful morning at Forest school. We packed the biscuits and hot chocolate and made our way down to the forest. We did the obligatory running race across the field, which has now become a tradition, and then scampered into the forest to explore and play.
Our book for the week has been, The Tiger Who Came To Tea, and so the children have had lots of fun in the water tray making lots of cups of tea. They are becoming experts, so do ask them if you would like your own cup of tea brewed! We have made tigers and cup-cakes out of play dough.
The children are enjoying experimenting with some paint and have created some adorable looking teddy bears. It has been another wonderful week in Acorns.
