Title: Preconceptions Medium: Acrylic and spray paint on canvas Size: 18x24 Intention: This piece addresses opinion and how although we may have similar objectives, the slightest difference in demeanour can change how others view us as individuals. The two roses represent shared similarities with gold portraying the idea of personal value, the value of others and how it connects people. Title: Natural Environment Medium: Cardboard, tape, copper, plastic, plastic wrap, fishing wire Size: 12x20 Intention: Garbage has integrated itself into our surroundings through the widespread use of plastic and production of waste. Although this is not ideal, the natural environment is still beautiful and cherished. The hand depicts humanity's role in causing the spread of garbage. The impacts will still remain as we could never fully remove all the waste around the world.

Title: Fortuneteller Medium: Acrylic paint on canvas, collage, spray paint, metallic watercolor, glitter, glue, printing paper Size: 12x12 Intention: This piece represents two contrasting views on our planet, in regard to pollution and how it is going to impact our future. The picture on the canvas is a collage of garbage photos taken at dumps, making up the earth. And up top there is a screen that can be pulled down over this image to show a clean earth. The background of this image is gold to show how wealthy polluters and people in power sometimes push this image forward.

Title: Desensitized Medium: Particle board, paper design, laser cutter Size: 14x24 Intention: The purpose of weapons is to cause harm or destruction. However, current media and exposure to weapons and violence have changed the way weapons are viewed. Explicit video games, gun violence and the recreational use of weapons changes the initial association of harm. We are desensitized to the dark origins of these objects. And are less aware of the dangers surrounding them.
