WILL be one of the lucky 24 Students in the MMM Challenge” I will foremost agree that I am not the best writer, with that being said, here is my attempt to “WOW” you beyond measurement. I want to thank you Danny and Rick (great name/back at ya! lol) for this amazing opportunity! I give great respect in the amount of time and commitment the two of you have put forth.
This opportunity will help me retire my dad; which is very important to me. He has worked in a sawmill for over 40 years; it really is time for him to retire. “No joke.” It would also make it possible to help my mother-in-law, whom has no retirement plan and is working as a truck driver at age 52. Next would be community involvement.

I put my family first. Family is one of the most important aspects of a person’s life. My upbringing defined me, and my family environment became a part of my identity. I want to be the positive role model in my girls’ life and show that “YES” anything is really possible if you put your mind to it “Visualize” and that you also have to back it up with “ACTION”. This opportunity and the fact that I am entering this contest show them my character and even though they are only 4 and 6 they learn more by my actions than anything. Support system, with ups and downs, my wife has been an important part of my life and helped in defining who I am and what I want and believe. She is my support and partner. With me on your team, you will also get her skills, talents and assistance. The power of two!
deserve. I am not talking about an elaborate, over the board lifestyle with waste. Have a nice home (paid for in full - no mortgage debt – no upside down mortgage). No worries about food or bills (right now we are barely making it due to job loss and a bad business franchise purchase). Having money to spend on private school and for college. We have a Veterinarian (6 year old daughter) and a possible Doctor (4 year old daughter) in the house, so that will be expensive. Vacationing wherever we want. Being able to help family with anything that may come up. Making sure that we work on good health care, including preventative health, not having to depend on a government health plan. “My Girls, all three, are my MOTIVATION – my why!”
Competitive
I am very competitive, I have played sports all my life and hate to lose and I take that mentality into everything I do. I have been in the mortgage industry for 12 years. While at the bank I received an award for top producer. In 2006 and 2007, I routinely closed over 20 million a month in construction loans. With that in mind, I am also a team player and I do not like negative confrontation.
Committed
I am committed to succeed and follow your system entirely. I will put the time and effort into this program and into collaborating with the Real Estate Network. The fact that I have been married for 11 years and with my wife for 15 years shows a lot about my commitment and my character. My parents have been married for 40 years this September; they are a big part of who I am today.
Teachable
I am very teachable and will follow any system and instruction you provide, I believe you are only as good as the people you work with and learn from so I want to learn from the best and the ones who are having success – that’s both of you. Guidance is the key.
Entrepreneur
I believe that self creates success in life. You should not expect things to be handed to you. Being an entrepreneur is having the ability to think outside the box and create wealth. Then taking it to the next level by teaching/mentoring others as both of you have accomplished and are doing. I believe that the more people you help become successful the more successful you will be.

Life Lessons Learned
“Just when you think your kids are not listening, they hear every word you say.” My first experiences in real estate investing – taught me that you do not try to figure out things on your own. I did not seek out the experience of successful and experienced investors. I let inexperienced people influence me into certain deals. It is best to learn and not follow until you are certain of the outcomes. Now I know that you need multiple exit strategies. Most people I see that are successful have either a system or people that they learn from. My experience with the failed master franchise taught me not to rush into anything. I rushed into the franchise and lease contracts too quickly; without the advice of outside council and ended up not being able to open a store. I have learned from that experience that you need to take smaller steps instead of thinking of overnight riches. Look at the big picture and the take the steps that take you there. I am not here for pity, I am here to learn and succeed by rebuilding my fortune and success team. In closing, I don’t have money to give or invest at this time, with your help I will! But I DO HAVE all the attributes above and I will work hard and give over a billion percent in effort. Thanks again Danny and Rick for your time and consideration.
