A total of 1,100 metres of elevation gain awaits on this bike trip to Sennjoch or Kreuzjoch at more than 2,000 metres above sea level. Below Zirmachalm the trek gets really steep. However, there are plenty of mountain lodges for a pick-me-up along the way.

Insgesamt 1.200 Höhenmeter warten auf dieser Radtour zum Sennjoch oder Kreuzjoch auf über 2.000 Meter Seehöhe. Unterhalb der Zirmachalm wird es dann richtig steil. Unterwegs gibt es jedoch zahlreiche Hütten, die zur Einkehr einladen.

Nach dem Aufstieg von Schönberg zum Alpengasthof Gleinserhof sind der Großteil der Höhenmeter geschafft. Auf einem Schotterweg geht es auf den Miederer Berg, zur Ochsenhütte und nach Koppeneck. Danach folgt die Abfahrt nach Mieder und der Weg zurück nach Schönberg.

After the ascent from Schönberg to Alpengasthof Gleinserhof, the majority of the altitude meters are done. On a gravel path, the route goes up the Miederer Berg, to the Ochsenhütte and to Koppeneck. Then follows the descent to Mieder and the way back to Schönberg.

Die Musikkapelle Neustift spielt das ganze Jahr über bei Konzerten, Prozessionen und festlichen Anlässen. Die Musikkapelle ist damit ein wesentlicher Kulturträger im Dorf.

The Neustift brass band plays at concerts, processions and festive occasions throughout the year. The music band is therefore an essential cultural vehicle in the village.
