Human Simphony
Tablinum is proud to present its annual program of thematic exhibitions – LUST FOR ART – dedicated to the artists and promoted by our curatorial department. Following the success of “Art Expo – FEED THE WORLD WITH ART”, which recorded a total of 42,590 visitors last year, this time we have decided to look at art through the eyes of those who both love it passionately and collect it. Art was an essential factor in the development of our society and the passion has been its motor. As Flaubert wrote: “If there is something to worship on this earth and among all Nothingness, if there is something holy, pure, sublime, something that should support this huge desire of infinity and vagueness which is called the soul, then this is the art “. That is why we wish to celebrate our LUST FOR ART through the works of a selected shortlist of contemporary artists from several European nations. We want to do this by being guided by the feelings we experience in works of art.In a century in which culture, and therefore also art is its lifeblood, too often brushed aside or subjected to an extraneous logic, we believe it is important to dwell upon this sensitive awareness. Art and aesthetic enjoyment: art possesses the power to reawaken the spiritual potential that lies dormant within each individual. Art stimulates our desire and also our sense of aesthetics together with our lust for possession. This perception embodies and implies not only the admiration of art but also the experience of an elaboration of feelings. By means of these art exhibitions, we will investigate this aesthetic mechanism which art triggers within us by examining all our perceptions. At first glance, art attracts our attention and then deeply penetrates our inner reflection and our aesthetic enjoyment. Artistic libido is a psychological and creative energy located within the mind: the brain and creativity resemble a puzzle whose pieces consist of language and perception. Continua la scelta programmatica di Tablinum di creare una rassegna tematica annuale dedicata agli eventi espositivi promossi da dipartimento curatoriale del nostro studio. Dopo il fortunato successo di Art in Expo. Feed the World with Art che lo scorso anno ha fatto registrare un totale di 42.590 visitatori, che ci hanno seguito con entusiasmo nelle location ospiti della rassegna, dandoci un eccezionale supporto, quest’anno abbiamo deciso di guardare l’arte attraverso lo sguardo di chi la ama e la colleziona spinto da una grande passione. L’arte è stata un fattore essenziale allo sviluppo della nostra società e la passione è stata il suo motore. “Se c’è sulla terra e fra tutti i nulla qualcosa da adorare, se esiste qualcosa di santo, di puro, di sublime, qualcosa che assecondi questo smisurato desiderio dell’infinito e del vago che chiamano anima, questa è l’arte” scriveva Gustave Flaubert ed ecco perché vogliamo celebrarla attraverso le opere di una selezionata rosa di artisti contemporanei provenienti da più nazioni europee e lo vogliamo fare guidati dal sentimento di passione che essa instaura in noi. In un secolo in cui la cultura, e quindi anche l’arte che ne costituisce la linfa vitale, viene troppo spesso messa da parte o piegata a logiche avulse, è bene soffermarsi sulla sensibilizzazione nei confronti di essa. Arte e godimento estetico: arte come potere di risvegliare il potenziale spirituale che giace dormiente all’interno di ogni individuo. Arte che suscita desiderio, stimola il nostro senso estetico e la nostra brama di possesso. La percezione racchiude in sé e implica nel suo atto non solo il vedere le cose, ma sentire in sé il rielaborare dei sentimenti. Con questa rassegna ci apprestiamo a indagare il meccanismo estetico che l’arte innesca in noi passando attraverso tutte le nostre percezioni. L’arte penetra prima dallo sguardo per raggiungere poi nella sua completezza la nostra riflessione e il nostro godimento estetico. La libido artistica è energia psichica e creativa che ha come luogo fisico la mente, il cervello: la creatività è costituita da un puzzle i cui tasselli sono linguaggio e percezione. L'artista svedese Joakim Hansén prende la sua ispirazione dalla vita della grande città, soprattutto dal mondo underground e punk ed è uno degli artisti più famosi a livello internazionale per questa forma d'arte. Ha realizzato manifesti per festival rock e jazz, per il Moderna Museet di Stoccolma e per brand denim quali Lois, Warrick e Levi's. Egli ha dipinto murales in rock club, biker bar, ristoranti, alberghi e boutique di abbigliamento. Ha anche progettato la grafica per il marchio Jockey così come i loghi, gli adesivi e le copertine degli album di numerose band musicali. Ha dipinto i murales che decorano le boutique di Gamla Brogatan, la Carnaby Street di Stoccolma. Egli è particolarmente riconosciuto per il murales e i manifesti realizzati per Sko-Uno, negozio di culto per il mondo punk di Stoccolma. Nel corso degli ultimi 15 anni Joakim è stato uno dei più famosi creatori del mondo fantasioso che anima il celebre parco divertimenti di Grona Lund, nel cuore di Stoccolma, visitato da milioni di persone ogni anno, per cui ha creato intere aree tematiche. La mostra Human Symphony ci consente un'imperdibile occasione per ammirare le sue tele: sinfonie underground in cui i numerosi dettagli si intrecciano in cui lo scorrere ritmico di colore e luce veicolano un comune sentire che coinvolge artista e spettatore. The Swedish artist Joakim Hansén takes his inspiration from the big city life, especially from the underground and punk worlds, he is one of the leading artists of this art style. He has created posters for rock and jazz festivals, the Moderna Muséet in Stockholm and for the denim brands Lois, Warrick and Levi’s. He has painted murals in rock clubs, biker bars, restaurants, hotels and clothing boutiques. He has also designed graphics for the Jockey brand as well as logos, stickers and album covers for various bands and brands. He painted murals outside several boutiques at Gamla Brogatan, the Carnaby Street of Stockholm. He is especially recognized for the mural and posters he made for Sko-Uno, Stockholm’s cult mod/punk shoe store. Over the past 15 years Joakim has been a prime force in creating the fantasy and comic aesthetics of amusement rides and environments at the classic amusement park "Gröna Lund" in central Stockholm. He has created complete themed areas familiar to all Stockholmers and visited by millions every summer. Some of his most beautiful paintings will be exposed during his solo exhibition, Human Symphony.

Potrà l’uomo nascodersi e infine, fuggire? Sotto la città c’è un luogo che pullula di vita e mai dorme: gallerie, corridoi, tubi, ramificazioni, come all’interno di un corpo umano che vive, si contorce emette vampate, assieme al ronzio delle macchine si diffonde l’odore di qualcosa che sta cuocendo a fuoco lento e della muffa. Ora le caverne sono costruite e la caccia continua...
Inspired by the famous film Noir, The Third Man, 1949 directed by Carol Reed starring Orson Welles. A frantic search in the city’s labyrinthine sewer tunnels.…. Can the man hide and escape? Under the city, a place growing, never sleeps, tunnels, narrow aisles, pipes, ramifications, as inside of a human body, operated, it drains and flushes, machines buzzing, simmer and musty smell spreads. New caverns constructed… the hunt continues.

La sala da concerto prende a modello tre importanti edifici storici a Stoccolma: la Royal Opera House, il Royal Dramatic Theatre e il Museo nordico. Anno 1979. ”Consert Hall” poster. In questo poster sono ritratti i membri degli ABBAassecondadno la fantasia dell’artista: Jimmi Hendrix, Rolling Stones e di Elvis Presley Ho mescolato tutti nel mio gruppo di fantasia, anche Groucho Marx è presente!
A poster for a fashion shop named ”Waterloo” and the manager worked with the Swedish group ABBA. So in that picture there is portraits of the members of ABBA, but, as I liked Jimmi Hendrix, Rolling Stones and Elvis Presley I mixed all of them in my fantasy group, even Groucho Marx is present!

”Björn Borg Jeans poster”. Il direttore di “Waterloo” ha lavorato anche con Lois Jeans e la famosa tennista campione del mondo Björn Borg qui ritratto. Questo poster è comparso sui muri di tutti i treni della metropolitana di Stoccolma. Le formiche vestitie in jeans suonano una melodia con il sassofono per il piccolo toro, nel vano tentativo di calmarlo! Acrilico su carta. Anno 1978-1979.
