As a photographer she is very able in analysing the world and every days life, always providing keys of unpredictable and original interpretations ready to capture any stimulus from the outside world and turn it into a new artistic message. Photographer, graphic artist, painter... The artist currently works on a wonderfully colourful series inspired from her imaginary cities, futuristic towns where nature and technology rub shoulders. Buildings become the guardians of her personal utopia and that it could appear not so much unachievable for mankind.

THINKING AND LIVING IN A TALL WORLD
Lydia forces us to reflect on a tall world, since the occupation of land increasingly forces us to live upwards, to elevate ourselves both physically and spiritually. Her buildings come with doors and windows that open on the veritable theatre stages on which we play our lives and tell our tales. They all have their own personalities... And our destinies and theirs unremittingly blend together, reflecting our lives.

A MODERN BABEL: THE IMPOSSIBILITY TO COMMUNICATE In the era of social networks, men and women are constantly connected, albeit completely virtually, locked away behind their screens. This generates an inextricable babel in which, just as in the works of Lydia, values, experiences and personalities merge. Everything in the cities of Lydia becomes contamination. Sometimes from this Babel one discerns the spark of the new way, a new possibility at other times one falls into a total lack of communication.
