Paul Harrison (Wolverhampton, 1966) John Wood (Hong Kong, 1969), lavorano insieme nell’ambito della videoarte dal 1993, il loro linguaggio è caratterizzato da un approccio concettuale e allo stesso tempo ironico. Hanno esposto al MoMA di New York; al Contemporary Art Museum di Houston; al Frist Centre di Nashville; alla Contemporary Art Gallery di Vancouver; al Mori Art Museum e all’ICC di Tokyo; all’OCAT Museum di Shanghai; alla Tate Britain e alla Whitechapel Gallery di Londra; alla Ikon Gallery di Birmingham; al Centre Pompidou e al Palais de Tokyo di Parigi; al CCA Wattis di San Francisco; al Ludwig Museum di Budapest; alla Kunstverein di Arnsberg; al Kunstmuseum Thun in Svizzera. Le loro opere si trovano in collezioni pubbliche e private, come la Tate Gallery di Londra, il MoMA di New York, il Centre Pompidou e la Kadist Foundation di Parigi, la Ludwig Collection di Aquisgrana, la British Council Collection, la Arts Council Collection, la Government Art Collection, la FNAC in Francia. Paul Harrison (Wolverhampton, 1966) John Wood (Hong Kong, 1969), have been working together in video art since 1993, their language is characterised by an approach which is conceptual yet ironic. They have exhibited at: the MoMA in New York; the Contemporary Art Museum in Houston; the Frist Centre in Nashville; the Contemporary Art Gallery in Vancouver; the Mori Art Museum and the ICC in Tokyo; the OCAT Museum in Shanghai; the Tate Britain and the Whitechapel Gallery in London; the Ikon Gallery in Birmingham; the Centre Pompidou and the Palais de Tokyo in Paris; the CCA Wattis in San Francisco; the Ludwig Museum in Budapest; the Kunstverein in Arnsberg; and, the Kunstmuseum Thun in Switzerland. Their works can be found in both public and private collections such as the Tate Gallery in London, the MoMA in New York, the Centre Pompidou and the Kadist Foundation in Paris, the Ludwig Collection in Aquisgrana, the British Council Collection, the Arts Council Collection, the Government Art Collection, and the FNAC in France. They have been represented by Studio Trisorio since 2009.
