Welcome to Summer at DIS WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT DIS? Established in 1959, DIS - Danish Institute for Study Abroad is a non-profit institution offerings semester and summer programs taught in English in Copenhagen. At DIS, the academic topics are focused and cutting edge, from human trafficking and public health, to sustainability and cross-cultural psychology, and much more. Courses are taught in English by mostly Danish faculty, who are experts in their field and ‘teach what they do.’

>> Guide to Building Your DIS Summer Program >> DIS offers a range of 3-credit courses in two successive three-week sessions from late May until early July within a variety of academic fields. >> You can take one course in either session or combine two different courses from the two sessions, allowing you to focus within the same academic field or to diversify. Some courses are offered in May and again in June, and cannot be taken in both sessions. >> The first session is based entirely in Copenhagen, while the second session also includes a five-day, course-integrated study tour in Europe, resulting in two price options depending on the session you choose. >> If you choose to enroll over the full six-week period and take two courses for a total of 6 credits, a significant discount on tuition and fees is offered by DIS.
