Jack T. Cook The Renaissance Man | Esquire
Jack T. Cook, Esq. is a state-wide Trial Attorney specializing in Medical Malpractice and Birth Injury Litigation. While he previously devoted his practice to the defense of physicians, nurses and healthcare facilities, he is currently a Partner with Morgan & Morgan where he devotes 100% of his practice to fighting for the victims of medical malpractice. While Mr. Cook has enjoyed great success as a skilled litigator and trial lawyer, it is his diverse background that he credits most. Mr. Cook was born and raised in Daytona Beach at a time when it was called the World’s Most Famous Beach. For much of his youth, Mr. Cook traveled the country as part of his family’s Magic Shop, a business started by his father as a table in a New Jersey flea market in 1966. It was in High School that Mr. Cook diversified his passions through participation in both the arts and athletics. While Mr. Cook was an accomplished wrestler and combat sports athlete, he spent much of his teenaged years working as a singer/actor/dancer both professionally and in a community setting. Despite those passions, a stronger calling lured Mr. Cook away from his original pursuits and into the life-changing decision to enlist in the United States Marine Corps in 1996. Mr. Cook enlisted in the Marine Corps at the age of 17, and during his tour of duty served with the elite ship-based Marine Expeditionary Units. During his time in service, Mr. Cook was meritorious promoted to every rank, and was Honorably Discharged in 2002 at the rank of Sergeant. It was Mr. Cook’s time in service that helped shape his practice of law as he strives to overlay the Marine Corps values of honor, courage and commitment into each and every case. Mr. Cook is known for the close personal bond he forms with clients, which often sees him getting tribute tattoos with family members at the conclusion of case. On his left ribs, he carries the names of the deceased babies he has represented. On the right side are the words “Say I Won’t” in the handwriting of quadruple amputee who successfully challenged that he would be able to walk despite losing his legs. “Florida offers amazing healthcare throughout the state.
