Dawn Ericsson, MD Medical Director, Age Rejuvenation Dr. Dawn Ericsson is a Board-Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist and a Fellow of the American Congress of OB/ GYN. She attended Yale University as an undergraduate, earned her Medical Degree at State University of New York at Stony Brook and went on to become the first African American to complete residency training in OB/ GYN, with world renown specialists at St Barnabas Medical Center in New Jersey. She has held membership in the American Medical Association, Florida Medical Association, Hillsborough County Medical Association, Medical Society of the State of New York, Bay Area Medical Association, and the Student National Medical Association. Before coming to Age Rejuvenation, she worked tirelessly, serving patients’ needs in Gynecology in both the office and the operating room as well as delivering babies through nights and weekends. She has worked at several top hospitals and surgical centers throughout the Bay area. In 2015, Dr. Ericsson was voted Tampa’s #1 Obstetrician/Gynecologist. Over a decade and a half ago, in search of better therapeutics for her patients, she began training in other healthcare modalities. In the scope of her practice at that time, she was somewhat limited, offering only pharmaceutical or surgical treatments. She sought an approach that also embraced functional medicine, addressing the root cause of symptoms and conditions to truly influence patient healing… to treat the patient from the inside out... to teach them how to achieve their best health… Additionally, Dr. Ericsson was keenly focused on anti-aging and aesthetics and recognized how wellness and hormone replacement therapy was inextricably intertwined with optimal outcomes in aesthetics and anti-aging. She wanted to help patients live better lives at every stage. That concern necessitated sexual health optimization as well. Determined to do all of this, she set out to practice in an arena to address this fundamental array of patient needs. The practice style and philosophy of AgeRejuvenation fit her ideal therapeutic approach. Dr Ericsson treats every patient as a unique individual. She spends time with them one on one, evaluating their medical history, lifestyle, and personal goals to best serve their needs. She enjoys not just placing a band-aid on patient symptoms, but addressing the cause of the them. Her skillset includes bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, thyroid hormone balancing, sexual health therapy, sexual dysfunction treatments (including the O-shot™ and P-shot), Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) procedures, stem cell and exosome therapy, dermal fillers, Botox, sclerotherapy, mesotherapy, and cosmetic lasers. As Age Rejuvenation's Medical Director, she oversees 13 medical providers, a staff of 80 employees and a database of 58,000 patients. Dr. Ericsson is one of a select few OB/GYN’s throughout the country to specialize in bio-identical hormone therapy. Dr. Ericsson enjoys helping patients restore their health through hormonal balance, decreased inflammation, and improved sexual function – promoting longer, healthier living at any age.
