Priya Nayyar, MD Dermatologist, Mohs & Cosmetic Surgeon at Dermaclinique Dr. Priya Nayyar is a New York City trained board-certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs, cosmetic and reconstructive surgeon. As a widely regarded dermatologist, she has trained extensively in the treatment and management of high-risk skin cancers as well as advanced dermatologic laser and cosmetic procedures. Dr. Nayyar is the founder and medical director of Dermaclinique located in St. Petersburg and Clearwater, Florida, where she provides a complete spectrum of dermatologic services, ranging from medical and cosmetic dermatology to Mohs surgery and hair restoration. Dr. Nayyar founded Dermaclinique with the vision of providing academic quality care in a boutique practice setting. Every person is unique and deserves his or her own customized approach to skin care and aesthetics. Dr. Nayyar and her team work closely with each patient to meet their specific wellness and cosmetic goals. Her state-of-the-art offices provide a complete scope of skin care services and treats signs of aging, acne, eczema, rosacea, warts and skin cancer. Dr. Nayyar has performed thousands of successful procedures including Mohs surgery and cosmetic surgeries including blepharoplasties, lip lifts, and hair transplants. Dr. Nayyar graduated magna cum laude from Temple University with a degree in Psychology and Neuroscience and subsequently attended SUNY Downstate Medical School. During medical school, Dr. Nayyar was accepted into the highly competitive Clinical Research Training program at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Nayyar’s ability to diagnose and treat skin cancer is unparalleled because of the cutting-edge research she conducted. Dr. Nayyar completed a surgical internship and dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Her decision to complete an internship in surgery demonstrates a love and commitment to surgery, and a high level of proficiency with the procedures she performs. After her dermatology residency, Dr. Nayyar went on to complete a Procedural Dermatology Fellowship specializing in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, hair restoration and cosmetic procedures at Mt. Sinai Beth Israel Health System in New York City.

Dr. Nayyar has been nationally and internationally recognized, receiving prestigious awards for her presentations, research, and publications. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the Florida Society of Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery, and the American College of Mohs Surgery. In her spare time, Dr. Nayyar enjoys exercising, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her husband and three daughters. Dr. Nayyar embodies a strong passion for dermatology and truly enjoys the art of aesthetics. She is excited to serve Tampa/St. Petersburg/Clearwater community and welcomes new patients to Dermaclinique.
