Jeetpaul Saran, MD The Health Associates of Tampa Dr. Jeetpaul Saran is a board-certified internal medicine physician, specializing in primary care. While an Ohio native, Dr. Saran moved to Tampa in 2010 and has since established roots in his professional and private life here. He is proud to call Tampa home, where he lives with his wife, Christina, and their son Darwin. For the last 20 years, Dr. Saran has dedicated his work, to advancing medicine and the art of patient care. He began his medical career after graduating in 2003 from Dayanand Medical College in India and joining the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Florida to research gene therapy. There he published five research papers and was asked to give a national talk on his research over his two-year span at the University. He continued on to the University of North Carolina for his Internal Medical Residency where he reaffirmed his interest in aging and adult medicine. After residency, he found his way back to Florida at Tampa General Hospital. Dr. Saran’s empathy and compassion for his patients drove his search for ways to provide better hands-on medical care for his community. Leading him to found his outpatient practice, The Health Associates of Tampa, in 2012. He continued his inpatient service as an internist at Tampa General Hospital and HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital, where he took on leadership positions. Starting as Vice Chief of Medicine and moving up to become Vice Chief of Staff for over 6 years. During this time, Dr. Saran also helped found The Florida Physician’s Alliance. This organization of 650 private physicians helps coordinate the care for patients between all their providers in the Tampa Bay Area. Dr. Saran has modeled his outpatient practice to best serve patients as a whole, specializing in patients above the age of 65 and Medicare Advantage. The practice uses a multidisciplinary approach with an innovative and patient centered model. His success comes from educating his patients so they may actively participate and engage to promote their own health. Dr. Jeetpaul Saran continues to provide the latest medical advances to his patients at The Health Associates of Tampa. Advances such as Vitalize, an IV age defying and cancer repelling therapy and Embody, a cutting-edge medical weight loss therapy program, all starting in March of this year.
