Dr. Dragos Zanchi, MD, FCCP, FAASM President of TGH-Pulmonary and Sleep of Tampa Bay Director Tampa General Hospital Lung Institute Dr. Dragos Zanchi is a pulmonologist and sleep specialist, co-founder and president of Pulmonary & Sleep of Tampa Bay. His expertise is in treating pulmonary disorders, including asthma, COPD, allergies, pulmonary fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, sarcoidosis, early detection and treatment of lung cancer, sleep disorders, (obstructive and central sleep apnea, insomnia, restless legs syndrome, narcolepsy). Zanchi's philosophy of patient care is to find the root cause of the medical problem and treat the patient's body and spirit as a whole entity. He is an advocate of lifestyle changes, healthy nutrition and meditation as therapeutic options and is a passionate advocate of patient’s access to care and serving the community. Zanchi is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases, sleep disorders as well as board certified by the American Board of Sleep Medicine and the American Board of Physician Nutrition Specialists. His research experience
includes clinical studies in all areas of pulmonary and sleep medicine and is a Certified Principal Investigator by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
