POR QUE HACER UNA CAMPAÑA DE PUBLICIDAD INTEGRAL O LA IMPORTANCIA DE LOS 360º A nosotros, los encargados de transmitir los mensajes de las marcas, cada día nos resulta un poco más complicado eso de dar con el público objetivo que nos demanda el cliente. El consumidor de hoy en día parece huir del mensaje publicitario, se esconde, mira para otro lado, en definitiva, parece que le gusta ponérnoslo difícil. Esta coyuntura provoca que los planificadores de medios tengamos que agudizar al máximo la creatividad, aprovechando lo mejor de cada medio, exprimiéndolos, e incluso creando nuevos medios. Así, soluciones como campañas de publicidad integrales o de 360º parecen estar imponiéndose en el mercado publicitario actual. Welcome to the first hard copy of Suceso Magazine! I am Susan Goodyear. A life long artist in love with the art world and it’s many treasures. Art is in my blood as I am sure it is with many of you whether creating or simply enjoying. It is an exciting and intriguing world, and while as old as civilization itself, it is ever evolving filling the world with much beauty. I am a resident of Boca Raton, formerly from one of the “artiest” cities in the world……New Orleans, Louisiana. For thirty years I was privileged to be involved in the art world there, having many shows of my own works both private and juried, and enjoying the many art inspired “happenings” of the city. Here in South Florida we are blessed with many opportunities to get involved and enjoy the arts. There are many avenues to pursue, and in the coming issues I will be sharing these venues with you….such as galleries, gallery openings, and artists and their works. I am a member of WITVA (Women In The Visual Arts) and an active artist at Studio7, a working studio housing seven artists in Boca Raton. I Am also associated with Michael Joseph at Artists Haven Gallery in Fort Lauderdale. How to Manage Your Own Money CÓMO ADMINISTRAR SU PROPIO DINERO or retiree Carol Klonowski, portfolio management became a 20-hour-a-week job. After taking classes offered by her brokerage firm, Charles Schwab, she started making regular stock trades from her computer, and reading up on analyses by financial advisers. She joked to friends that she was managing a small—very small—hedge fund. Klonowski's strategy of managing her own investments is unusual among retirees. Many of her peers turn their money over to professionals or stick with funds designed to automatically become more conservative as they age. But advisers say such tools can give retirees and soon-to-be retirees a false sense of security, and that successful investors are usually more involved in the decision-making process. Here's what investment advisers recommend instead: Get regular check-ups. "In the '80s and '90s, when people retired, they'd get an asset allocation developed and then forget about it because everything did so well," says Dean Barber, president of Barber Financial Group in Lenexa, Kan. But if people don't regularly rebalance their portfolios, they're at risk for being too heavily weighted in stocks or bonds, he says. If investors have too much money in stocks, they can lose a lot when the market drops. If too much is in bonds, they might not be able to keep up with inflation. Retirees are particularly likely to fall out of balance because they're no longer adding money to their accounts, Barber says. That's why he recommends reviewing retirement investments at least three times a year. Know what you need. Retirees who want to become more involved in managing their portfolios should first decide how much money they will need to take out of their investments, advises Tim Courtney, chief investment officer of Burns Advisory Group in Oklahoma City. For example, someone with $1 million in his or her portfolio might plan to withdraw 5 percent a year, or $50,000. (Most people wouldn't want to withdraw a higher percentage than that, he says, because it doesn't leave much wiggle room for dips in the market.) With a 5 percent withdrawal rate, investors will need to put at least some of their money in stocks, because bonds—while safer—

provide lower returns. On the other hand, a retiree who needs to withdraw only 2 percent of his portfolio, perhaps because he also receives income from a pension, can rely more heavily on safer bonds and certificates of deposit. "The withdrawal rate you require will tell you how much risk you need to take," says Courtney. Over time, he says, people usually increase the value of their withdrawals to keep pace with inflation. Seek stability. Even retirees who actively manage their investments will want the bulk of their portfolio in a diverse set of investments that doesn't require much daily monitoring. "You should be setting up your portfolio in a way so you're not making constant changes," says Courtney. Adjustments and rebalancing, yes, but frequent stock and fund trades, no. "If you're very active in buying and selling asset classes, the odds are against you being able to time those right to make money [consistently]," he adds. Get emergency-ready. Retirees should also plan for emergency cash needs, so if they suddenly have a big expense, they won't have to sell investments. IN ENVIRONMENTAL PSYCHOLOGIST Roger Ulrich’s well know 1984 study “View through a Window May Influence Recovery from Surgery”, Ulrich studied hospital patients recovering from surgery, and he found that one factor alone accounted for significant differences a patients recovery from surgery: the view thought a window. Ulrich concluded, and other following studies have affirmed that when natural environments are present, human beings tend to feel calmer, more comfortable, less stressed, and their health can actually improve. This information has heavily influence the field of environmental psychology. While most people may not spend a lot of time thinking about room color, window and open spaces, interior designers know it affects every day of our lives. Just like a view of a natural environment effects can affect one’s recovery from surgery, room color can influence our mood and our thoughts. While the scientific jury is not yet out on how colors affect our mood and thoughts, here general guidelines on how room color affects the inhabitants of the room: Red raises a room’s energy level. It’s a good choice when you want to stir up excitement, particularly at night. Yellow captures the joy of sunshine and communicates happiness. It’s perfect for kitchens, dining rooms, and bathrooms, where happy color is energizing and uplifting. In halls, entries, and small spaces, yellow can feel expansive and welcoming. Blue brings down blood pressure and slows respiration and heart rate. That’s why it’s considered calming, relaxing, and serene, and is often recommended for bedrooms and bathrooms. Neutrals (black, gray, white, and brown) are basic to the decorator’s tool kit. All-neutral schemes fall in and out of fashion, but their virtue lies in their flexibility: Add color to liven things up; subtract it to calm things down. Black is best used in small doses as an accent , indeed, some experts maintain that every room needs a touch of black to ground the color scheme and give it depth.

Changing careers is no small task. As it is for most things in life, you will benefit from this program directly and proportionally with your investment — in time, energy, study and implementation. I believe your time, properly spent, can result in major POSITIVES in your life, if you will work at it and allow the transition to happen. I like to start our sessions with any of numerous materials I will reference and study over time. Perhaps you have seen the small book with big ideas, “Who Moved My Cheese?” by Spencer Johnson. It is, “a simple parable that reveals profound truths … It is amusing… Cheese is a metaphor for what you want to have in life.” Which leads us to your first assignment: Buy Who Moved My Cheese online or go to your library and read it. If you have already read it, read it again — things have changed in your life, so I expect you to get more out of it now. Let me know what you discover and ask yourself which character you most resemble. 10 ENTREPRENEURIAL TRAITS Each of us has, at one time or another, shared a trait with one of the characters portrayed in “Who Moved My Cheese?” Remember, it’s light, interesting reading… a journey starter! Speaking of journeys, I have started several business entities, and most have been successful. Aspirational Directions is my latest outreach. (My youngest brother says “he just can’t help himself.”) At this point in my own journey, I think I know why, with credit to a professor at my Alma Mater: Thunderbird School of Global Management. People who are looking for a laid-back and fuss-free vacation can turn to cruising. Cruising remains popular and that popularity continues to grow. Data from the Cruise Line International Association, Inc. market profile survey for 2011 found that cruising ranks second as the most popular vacation behind land-based nonresort vacations. Almost 71 percent of the total vacation market has an interest in cruising. Among past cruisers, survey respondents said they will most likely take another cruise over the next three years. CLIA research indicates that cruisers tend to be middle-aged, predominantly married couples with a median income of $97,000. The higher household income may account for the ability to cruise amid a floundering economy. What's behind the popularity of cruising? One of the main draws to cruising is its relative ease. From the moment a ship embarks, cruisers are aboard a floating hotel. All of their needs are met within the confines of the ship, and there's no hassle with baggage or layovers like there is for air travel. There's also no traffic on the open seas, and cruisers can customize their days and do as little or as much as they like. The all-inclusive nature of cruising extends to meals. A popular factor of cruising is that one needn't look far for the next meal. Unlike other hotels and resorts, there's no traveling far for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and passengers don't have to carry around extra money for meal expenses. Cruise packages often include all-you-can-eat options. This can seem like a bargain, as the cost of meals on other vacations tends to be a significant. According to Ehow.com, vacationers spend upwards of $600 in food for a week-long vacation. In comparison, cruising
costs on average $1,500 per person, which covers the accommodations, meals, some excursions, and onboard activities. Because most cruise ships travel in international waters, they are not governed by the rules of the land. For example, gambling is often legal aboard ships when they are out of port. Cruising remains one of the most popular types of vacations. And since CLIA says that many people still book cruise vacations through a travel agent, cruising may be one of the easiest vacations to plan and enjoy. Simply pack a suitcase and set sail.

Much of a young child's life revolves around adapting to new situations. Even when a routine is established, things can change and new skills must be learned. From moving from bottle to cup, to giving up a pacifier, to no longer using diapers or training pants, young children must tackle a lot of transitions. One such transition is making the switch from sleeping in a crib to sleeping in a bed. A crib can be a safe, comforting place for a child. But over time, the crib may no longer be the right place for the child to rest and this can manifest itself in a number of ways. For instance, a child may attempt to climb over the railing edge. When such behavior persists, most parents consider switching to a toddler bed, or a twin-sized bed with safety railings. Not every child has the same feelings about a "big boy or girl" bed. Some are excited about

Wait until later to move to the bed. * Stick to the same pre-sleep routine. Children are creatures of habit and like to know what is coming next. This may include reading a story, brushing teeth, and putting on pajamas, straightening up the room, or singing a lullaby together. Parents should also avoid letting their children sleep in Mom and Dad's bed. This promotes a habit that will be hard to break down the line. Although the first few nights of the new bed may be hard for your child, with time he or she will grow comfortable with his or her new sleeping arrangements

So you've bought or borrowed your first skateboard, and you are wondering what to do with it. You've seen skaters at the park or on TV, and you know what skating's supposed to look like, but how do you get started? What sort of beginner skateboard gear do you need? Well, the first thing you should do is get a pair of skate shoes (check out the Best Skateboard Shoes List). You can skate in regular shoes, but it will be a lot harder and even sometimes dangerous. Skate shoes are built with a large flat bottom, to better grip the board, and often with other features like reinforcement in areas where you'll likely wear the shoe down. You should also get a helmet (check out the Best Skateboard Helmets list). You might see skaters not wearing helmets, and worry that wearing one will make you look weak or stupid, but don't worry about it. It's common now for skateparks to require helmets, and it's just plain smart, especially when you first start out. Wearing other protective pads can be good too, but what you need totally depends on what you are doing (see the Best Skateboard Pads list). If you are trying to do tricks in your driveway, elbow pads might be a good idea, but you really only need knee pads if you are skating on a ramp, or trying some pretty crazy tricks. Marlow Rosado to discuss his latest CD “Retro” The Grammy nominated songwriter and producer Marlow Rosado to discuss his latest CD "Retro". This compilation of Artist that Marlow Rosado y La Riqueña have put together, delivering true "salsa" performed by a 12 piece orchestra. The CD includes a collection of Puerto Rican musicians of all time especially from "Fania All-Star" era bringing "hard salsa" back to life. The artist include Ismael Miranda, Bobby Cruz, Tony Vega, Papo Lucca, Luigi Texidor, Marion Fernandez, Kevin Ceballo, Tito Puente Jr, Salvador Cuevas, and Quique Domenech. Marlow Rosado y La Riqueña was the last band to be filmed and recorded by the Fania All-Stars. The Fania All-Stars was a musical ensemble established in 1968 by the composer, Johnny Pacheco, as a showcase for the musicians on the record label Fania Records, the leading salsa record company of the time.
Cirque du Soleil Dralion at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise
The Cirque du Soleil Dralion at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida. Alida PROMO had the great privilege to be included in the video shoot and this amazing show. It was phenomenal! I don't know how many things we stood in awe and said "Wow that's amazing"! The acts creative, colorful with a full musical orchestra performing enhanced your experience of the show. We were blown away by the acrobatics, juggler, trampoline and the clowns. The show begins casually with a trio of clowns who interact with the audience in ways that bring big laughs. Make sure you come early to the show so you do miss out on the laughter. Now the most amazing act was Kala who had the strength of Hercules, as he spun inside this giant ball of steel. All-in-all if you have never seen Cirque du Soleil you must come see this version "Dralion". It is a show for all ages and trust me you will not be disappointed. The show will move on to Estero, Florida opening night August 1, 2012. Broiled Parmesan-Lemon Tilapia INGREDIENTS • 4 (4 ounce) tilapia fillets • 2 tablespoons Miami-style sazon seasoning • 1 serving olive oil cooking spray • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese • 2 tablespoons butter-margarine blend (such as Smart Balance®), melted • 1 1/2 tablespoons fat-free mayonnaise • 2 tablespoons lemon juice • 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest • 1/8 teaspoon dried basil • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper • 1/8 teaspoon onion powder • 1/8 teaspoon celery salt DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat the oven's broiler and set the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source. Line a broiler pan with aluminum foil. Spray the broiler pan's rack with olive oil cooking spray. 2. Sprinkle tilapia with sazon seasoning and arrange on the prepared broiler rack. 3. Mix the Parmesan cheese, buttermargarine blend, fat-free mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon zest, basil, black pepper, onion powder, and celery salt together in a bowl and set aside. 4. Cook the fillets under the preheated
broiler until fish is barely opaque, 2 to 3 minutes per side. Spread the Parmesan cheese blend over the fish fillets, return to oven, and continue cooking until the topping is golden brown and the fish flakes easily, 3 to 5 more minutes.

bol y reservar. 4. Cocine los filetes en la parrilla precalentada hasta que el pescado es casi opaco, de 2 a 3 minutos por cada lado. Extienda la mezcla de queso parmesano sobre los filetes de pescado, regresar al horno, y continuar la cocción hasta que la cubierta esté dorada y se desmenuce fácilmente, de 3 a 5 minutos más.
