CYCLE HAPPINESS AT THE END OF LIFE
While we were walking at Talad plu, there was a small bicycle shop near the railway. Once we go and talk to the owner, we discover some charming story from him. A township near Phonimit skytrain station, there was a small bicycle shop that was opened by former soldier. His name is Ton.
He used to be a former soldier at Narathiwat when he was young until he found his right person to be with. After that he finally move back to Bangkok and live happily with his wife. With his dream that want to make a little happiness for the children, he decided to open a bicycle repair shop.
“She is my beloved wife”
The woman in this photograph is “Anong”. She is a housewife who have a kind-hearted.
He also has his lovely best friend name Somchai. Somchai is a cat that loves to be tame by the owner. When its owner was working with the bicycle, it always walks closer to see what is happening.
He said that when Somchai wants to hang out somewhere, it will kiss him and his wife at the cheek as a permission to go out every time. Somchai is a clean cat. It really like to take a bath, doesn’t like other cats. One day, Somchai suddenly fell into an oil bucket, it wriggled around until he came to see what happen and carry it out. When Somchai finally survived from oil bucket, it jumped into water basin and clean itself quickly.
He has a close friend name “Song”. Song was his friend since he had been at Narathiwat. He often comes to visit Ton and sometimes help Ton repairing bicycles too. “Song never make me feel lonely”,
He said.
Most of children in that area know that he is very kind with children, so most of his customers are children who live nearby his house.
He said that he like to take care of them like his son and daughter, so sometimes he give them a special discount or even repairing it for free if it not exploited himself too much.
“My son like to play many kind of sports, and riding a bicycle is one of his favorite�, This is one of the reason why he have a skill to fix every kind of bicycle.
He told that when his son was very young, his son want to travelling around by bicycle and he started with riding around the town but unfortu nately that he fell down and broke a bicycle
And that it is first time of Ton that he tried to fixing a bicycle for his son and and become a great technician for children.
