INTRODUCTION This first workshop is focused on the aspects of product management, made in Italy and value chain innovation. The integration of the above matters and their translation into a workshop task is to take full advantage of the productive territory in Italy, but also abroad considering the important networking essence throughout a consistent integration of several value chains, such as company, supplier, partner, consumer, distributor, etc, into an open and networked business model. “Slowear” Company This workshop has given the opportunity to experience how companies create market opportunities through product focused strategies; in order to have a more practical and realistic view of the above matter “Slowear” company cooperated and provide itself as a case for new business strategies implementation. “Slowear” is a specialist Italian fashion firm, a group that is rooted in an artisan reality of which it has maintained the meticulousness, the creative and in-depth research and, above all, the will to produce durable, timeless wear. The philosophy behind the “Slowear” company is to produce items that are made to last and do not suffer the whims of transitory fashions. The “Slowear” total look is a creative and versatile concept which derives from the combination of 4 trademarks specialized in a well defined identity. The Incotex, Zanone, Glanshirt and Montedoro collections represent the different variations of the “Slowear” style, from tailor wear to sportswear, from extreme design to vintage inspirations, but, always and anyway, Smart Casual.
